Huge windows overlooking a breathtaking view. This property is embellished with the popular Alaskan art of Rhonda Wegner Taylor. Guests enjoy being right next to skiing, sledding, walking and hiking trails within walking distance of downtown Valdez, shops, restaurants, museums, tours and much more. Wildlife is abundant right outside your door. Delicious baked goods make our continental breakfast something to look forward to.
Our B & B is very clean with classy amenities and is a safe place to stay in majestic Valdez.

The space was very clean, well-decorated, and had incredible views out the window. The bed was very comfortable and the host left fresh baked goods that were delicious as well as some thoughtful continental items. We would definitely stay here again :)

Great hospitality, beautiful space with lots of room. Bed was comfortable. No blackout curtains though so bring eye mask! Quick drive to town. Absolutely beautiful view from the windows and deck!

We had a wonderful stay! The view is absolutely amazing and was one of our favorite parts of the property. We were greeted with a loaf of banana bread and delicious cookies upon our arrival, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch.The rental itself was very spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. One thing worth mentioning is that the grinder toilet makes an unusual sound when it’s used, but don’t let that concern you—it works completely normally and wasn’t an issue during our stay.Overall, this is a beautiful, comfortable place with thoughtful hosts, and we would happily stay here again!

The room was spotless and the scenery was fantastic along with communication with the host. I'm 82 so the steps down & up were a little difficult, but the breakfast consisted of instant oatmeal with 1 cup of milk for 2 mornings for 2 people, canned juice, granola bars & green apples. What we did enjoy was the keurig coffee maker with Kirkland coffee and i thank the host for that.

Our stay was wonderful in every way except for the steps down to the entrance. I could not carry my luggage down the stairs. If that would not be an issue for you then I highly recommend this lovely unit.

My husband and I enjoyed this studio very much! It was comfortable, clean and filled with coffee, tea and snacks. It was the perfect place to organize our things for an excursion we had early the next morning in Valdez. This studio is spacious. We hope to be back again next time we’re in Valdez.

Wonderful place to stay in Valdez! We enjoyed the spacious accommodations, goodies left for breakfast, great location, and nice hosts. So glad we chose Cliffside B&B for our visit.

LOVED my three night stay here! As a single woman, I felt safe and completely comfortable. There was every amenity available and even free pastry and cookies, in addition to oatmeal, snack bars, fruit, coffee, tea and a few other drinks and snacks. The view from the beautifully appointed studio was literally awe inspiring! The intimate deck/patio view mimicked the same snow capped mountain view as from the expansive windows of the studio. My hosts were communicative, responsive and respectfully friendly, allowing for my privacy, yet attentive to all my inquiry. Absolutely, a LOVELY experience!

This place made our trip! It was more affordable than the cabins we were looking at and the view was 100 times better. Our host even notified us of the northern lights which I thought was so sweet. I would definitely stay there again.

I’ve stayed in Valdez a couple times and this was way better than the hotels there! First off it was super clean and cozy and quiet. We had everything we needed and we enjoyed the fresh baked bread! A wonderful stay.
