Spacious lakefront home with sandy beach, sand volleyball court, large deck, gazebo (with lights & ceiling fan), and fire pit. This home is on All-Sports Bush Lake, with excellent fishing, kayaking, swimming (with floating swim platform). Ice fishing, ice skating and other winter sports. Less than an hour North of Metro Detroit. Minutes to the Holly Vault Wedding venue. Newly remodeled, quiet, and relaxing. Grocery store and restaurants within 5 minutes. Sleeps 6. HOME IS FOR REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY, NO OTHER OVERNIGHT GUESTS ARE ALLOWED! NO GARAGE ACCESS.

Flexible and relaxing

Calming view

Rose was very accommodating. The house was as advertised. It was in the 30’s so we enjoyed the lake from the windows. It was very close to Holly and convenient to many other cities. We enjoyed our stay.

Family Wedding

The house was perfect for us 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We enjoyed the lakefront the first day and kids could play in the sand. My son caught a couple of fish off the dock...and released. Second day was cool and rainy but still enjoyed the view and wildlife. We were in town for a wedding in Holly and the stay was very enjoyable.

Enjoyed our stay but a little weird

We really enjoyed the house. It was perfect for our family get away. It was a little weird being watched on camera and having the owners come over each day. Felt my privacy was invaded. Otherwise loved the property and would have rented it again for sure.

Beautiful House, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

The owner was condescending and displayed a clear distrust of renters. From the start of our communication I felt that the owner did not trust us despite us having done nothing wrong. I felt as though we had to walk on eggshells during our entire stay and that it was assumed that we were doing something wrong with no basis. This house was booked during our wedding weekend so on top of a stressful time, this owner made my weekend incredibly worse just through her communication. Her behavior was completely inappropriate as we had been nothing but polite and courteous in communication with her. Within ten minutes of arrival, we were already being monitored and interrogated as to why there was a trailer in the driveway - even though we had previously spoken with her and she agreed to let us bring a refrigerated trailer. During the entire stay we all felt deeply uncomfortable and felt as though we were being watched. However, the house was stunning, and had communication with the owner not been atrocious it would have been a great stay. The house smelled of bleach slightly and the sheets caused irritation. I would never recommend this owner, and will never stay here again.

Beautiful

The house was very clean and had all the necessities. The large back windows look over the deck and out on to the lake. It was very peaceful.

Great stay

The property was just as described, and although we didn't get a chance to enjoy the backyard due to attending an event in town, it was beautiful. Check in process was easy and communication was great. Thanks, Rose!

Wedding weekend stay

This was a great place to stay for extended out of town family to stay for a long weekend. There was lots of room for 5 adults and two young children. Everything was clean and comfy. Owners made it very clear that they wanted us to enjoy our stay and were very accommodating!

Weekend Family Getaway

Love this property! Plenty of room for our family of 6. Beautifully landscaped on a lake close to restaurants and highway. Clean and super comfortable. 3 full bathrooms with amazing master shower. Had dinner on the patio over looking the lake and watched the sunset. Would stay here again!

Comfortable, clean and nice view

The home was beautiful and clean. Beds were comfortable and extra blankets were provided, which we needed. There were plenty of towels and dishes, which was nice. It was also nice to have 3 full bathrooms. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed the back deck and nice view of the lake! One suggestion would be to add a bench in the front entry way to sit on for taking shoes off and on. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Rose's place to others.

Lake house

The lake house was beautiful. Had all the amenities we needed. Very clean, great quality beds & pillows. The restrooms where all full bathrooms with showers, made us girls very happy. The lake was just right out our back door. We definitely recommend

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful, well thought out grounds. Sandy beach and volleyball. Kitchen was well equipped. Hosts were very reachable and accommodating. Highly recommend this property to all families!

Great stay! Kids LOVED playing in the water and kayaking

Wonderful stay! Our kids really enjoyed playing in the water for hours--especially jumping off the platform and trying out kayaking. The home was very clean. We chose to drive to the Henry Ford Museum for our cultural entertainment but it was nice to come back to the house for a totally different relaxing experience after a day in the museum. Thank you!

A few simple changes would improve the experience

The location was nice and the wildlife was fun to watch. Holly is a lovely town. I would have appreciated cable tv, quality unstained linen, towels and bar soap. We needed an iron or steamer but none were found. I’m sure the summertime recreation equipment is fun but weather was not in our favor. Making these changes would improve the experience!

Great getaway

I rented this property for a getaway weekend with friends. The house was very nice and comfortable! Plenty of kitchen utensils and supplies. Location is excellent! The view of the water was a plus! Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent place to stay

We were in town for a wedding. My wife and I, along with our 2 month old, sister in law, brother in law, their 2 kids under 3, mother in law and father in law all stayed at the house. It was able to fit all of us comfortably. It was October so it was cold but we could see the potential it had for the summer time! We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Property

Beautiful home on a private lake, yet close to downtown, restaurants, and grocery store. We were in town for a wedding and owners even allowed pictures to be taken here on the lake. Home was clean and well maintained. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great spot for a family lake vacation

Very clean, well maintained, comfortable property. Owners were exceptionally responsive to even the smallest query. On a secluded lake and road, yet close to grocery, pharmacies, hardware, other shops and businesses.

Breathtaking!

My family came to Michigan from Georgia for a family reunion at Holly Recreation Area. The house was so nice and relaxing we didn’t want to leave! We all wished we had booked a longer stay to make time to enjoy the property! Host was amazing communicator! I’d def stay there again 10/10!

Nice Property

This property was nicely updated and very comfortable. Three bathrooms were a plus! Outdoor deck and yard area was very nice. Property was easily accessible for persons with mobility issues.
