Located 2 miles from the entrance of Mesa Verde National Park. Newly constructed one bedroom one bath guest home. 5 miles to Mancos, 10 miles to Cortez, 32 miles to Durango, 1 hour to The Durango airport. Centrally located to the park, La Plata mountains in the San Juan National Forest, Mancos State park, and 10 minute drive to Phils World BLM mountain biking area. Home is on 13 rural acres with beautiful views of the park and La Platas out your windows. WIFI, Smart Tv and 4GLTE phone service.

As Advertised

Showed up early to confirm location before heading to Mesa Verde , met w/owner who was clearing off drive access and parking spot next to guest house , provided advice on where to eat as well , nice people , the house was spotless, bed was comfortable and shower was hot . I would be very happy to return to this location!

Excellent stay

Very quiet location, the guesthouse is very clean and has all the basic amenities you need. The night sky is amazing, even from indoors.

Mesa Verdi stay

This was a very cozy well kept place. Loved that we could let our Cavapoo run free outside, and a short 2 miles to the park. Highly recommend

Mesa Verde retreat

This was a very clean place with a lovely view. It was easy to be to and is in a good location for visiting Mesa Verde and all of the area around there. Marcos, which is close by, has a nice little pizza parlor and grocery store. The Marcos Brewery is also a great place!

2024 Fall Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Pretty views and the house was clean. Perfect for two people. Very quiet. Will stay here again. A plus next time we can bring our dog.

Comfortable Spacious Place With Great Views

Wish I had booked this property for more than just one night. Awesome views, so close to Mesa Verde NP entrance. Super clean and comfortable accommodations

Perfect location

The house was absolutely perfect for our trip. We had plans to do two guided tours at Mesa Verde National Park early the next morning. The house is literally just a few minutes from the park’s entrance. It was very inviting and lovely. Couldn’t have been any better, seriously! Many thanks to the owners.

mesa verde & chimney rock

The vrbo was perfect to stay at for going to Mesa Verde and Chimney Rock. It was quiet, clean and the perfect size, with all necessary amenities. It made our vacation very enjoyable. Mike and Erin were very prompt with any questions and very friendly also.

Great place to stay

Perfect for us!

1st, my wife and I give the owners 5 stars for cleanliness, communication and the property is AS ADVERTIZED! When we had questions, we were answered promptly and completely. The place was clean and feels new. This is a fully functional efficiency apartment that was perfect for me, my wife and our dogs, as advertised. Next, I give the property 5 stars for functionality and location. Everything in the house that we needed worked... A/C, stove, coffee maker, etc. The property is in a nice rural residential neighborhood with some beautiful views. About 5 minutes to the entrance of Mesa Verde N.P. About 5 minutes east is Mancos...we loved the sandwiches at Zuma grocery. And my wife LOVED her chai latte from Fahrenheit Roasters in downtown Mancos. 10 minutes west is Cortez which has everything you'll need...gas, grocery, restaurants, laundromat, Super Walmart etc. Durango is about 35 minutes east and has even more restaurants, grocery, etc. Less than 20 minutes to Mancos S.P. We recommend both the pizza and beer from Mancos Brewery. So, 5 stars overall and we highly recommend. Thanks to Mike and Erin for providing a perfect stay for this vacation.

The area was great. The stars at night were gorgeous. They supply chairs to sit on outside so we could enjoy the views. In the morning we saw deer around the property and it was just the absolute gorgeous and relaxing stay.

Perfect for our visit to Mesa Verde

We enjoyed our stay at this well-appointed property! Exceptionally clean! The bed was very comfortable as were the recliners in the living room. Kitchen was well stocked with the dishes/utensils needed to prepare all our meals during our stay. The location was perfect. Lots of privacy while being just minutes from MV Park entrance. Thank you, Michael and Erin, for making our visit to MV easy and memorable.

Quaint Stay

The ease of accessing Mesa Verde from here was perfect. My daughter and I are doing a mother/daughter road trip. The place was very clean and more important welcoming and comfortable. Erin and Michael were so helpful with whatever we needed especially suggesting restaurants. I will be recommending to my friends. Thank you for the perfect start to our trip!

Wonderful property, close to Mesa Verde

We loved staying here! Mike and Erin's property felt private and quiet. It was clean, and had all the amenities we could ask for. The proximity to Mesa Verde was fantastic, just a 5 minute drive, and 8 minutes into Mancos for groceries and restaurants. They were very communicative, and check-in/out instructions were clear and simple. They were also very responsive with the couple of questions we had during our stay. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed here on our way from Colorado to Arizona. Check in was seamless, which was important since we got in a little later than expected.

Awesome Access to Mesa Verde!

We arrived near Mesa Verde in the late afternoon, and the entire area was foggy so we could not see anything. That was a real let down as we had driven 9 hours to get there, and had to head out in the morning for the next leg of our adventure. HOWEVER, when we woke up in the morning and walked out the door to pack the car we saw the MOST STUNNING view of the Point Lookout mesa at Mesa Verde National Park from the front door of our stay! We ultimately took the time to drive through the park because of that, so the location of this suite cannot be overemphasized. Check in and out were very easy, and Mike and Erin were responded quickly to any questions we had.

Majestic Mancos

Perfectly charming, clean, comfortable. Mike and Erin were friendly and communicative. This was a perfect overnight stopping place between Colorado Springs and Phoenix. We look forward to coming back for several days to tour Mesa Verde and surrounding area. Our Goldendoodles loved it, too!

Views of Mesa Verde

The property is so close to Mesa Verde and an enjoyable ride to other nearby historical areas. It was very clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi isn’t very fast so streaming was difficult. Not a big deal for us since we were there to explore the area not watch TV. The owners were very responsive and even though the apartment is attached to their garage, we still felt secluded. The location of the house is within a small development but you have great view of the park. So close you can see the lights of cars driving up the mountain at night.

Quiet place to stay very close to Mesa Verde National Park

Quiet and peaceful summarizes our experience. The property works well for two people only. You can park right next to the property and it's easy exit to Hwy 160 for Mesa Verde, only two miles away.
