A really comfortable gite with an exceptionally clean pool. Well maintained and with everything that you could need. The house is larger than I expected with comfortable rooms and furniture.

Our stay in Lavardac was wonderful. Francoise was incredibly helpful and keen to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The villa is exactly as it appears in the listing and did not disappoint at all. We throughly enjoyed lounging by the pool in the well-kept garden. The only thing I would suggest changing would be the very low hanging lamp shades as my husband hit his head on quite a few occasions! Overall though, a fabulous stay - thank you!

Lovely house with pool

Lovely spacious house with gorgeous private pool. Very helpful host who was easily available if we had questions or minor issues. Great location for exploring the region and a lovely base to come back to after a day's sightseeing.

Lovely house and pool in a great location to explore Gers. Françoise and Serge were the perfect hosts and any minor problems we had were dealt with promptly. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Property

We couldn't have asked for more! The property is beautiful and the pool is amazing. The hosts are incredibly helpful and communication great. Lavardac is a lovely, friendly place and I am sure we will be returning.

The property is lovely with everything you would need. The pool is amazing - really big and well maintained. Françoise and Serge couldn't be nicer. This is a spacious 3-bedroom house, all on one level with a fantastic swimming pool. It is in a small village with a market and boulangerie an easy walk. There are lots of lovely bastide villages within easy reach. We ate all our meals outside in the covered seating arrangement, which was lovely, but we had mistakenly assumed from the pictures that this overlooked the pool, but it doesn’t.This is a shame as the best bit is the pool, even when we had bad weather there always gorgeous evening sunsets and we would have like to eat our evening meals there. Our grandchildren absolutely loved the pool.The house is well equipped; I was pleased to have gas hob to cook on and an oven – for warming the croissants! Even though it was in a separate area from the kitchen.We enjoyed our stay.

House with beautiful grounds and pool

This property is 10 minutes walk (really) from a boulangerie, a small cafe, and the Wednesday market. Despite being very close to the village, the house was located in a quiet neighborhood. There was no vis-a-vis as the French say. That means the property is very private. The house is perfect for a couple or a small family with one child. Grounds are beautifully kept and the pool is impeccable. Lavardac is exactly 8 minute drive away from Nerac with all of its commerce and restaurants. You can easily use the property as a home base to drive to all the different medieval villages which range from a 10 minute to 40 minute drive. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Area

The property is very nice, kept well, and in a great area for exploring real France. The garden is beautiful, well maintained, the swimming pool is a good size, interesting shape. BBQ was well used by us, with a lovely patio to eat at in the evening. The kitchen was well equipped. Francoise speaks very good English and is very friendly and accommodating. She drove around the town with us when we first arrived to give us a good heads up on the area. Walking distance to the town which is small, but has a butcher, 2 bakeries, 2 large supermarkets with the cheapest petrol in the area and a small Wednesday market. Only 10mins drive to Nerac a much larger town, with plenty of restaurants and a great Saturday market. I'd recommend this property. John and Jo Scott

Nous avons passé un bon séjour reposant dans une très belle propriété au calme et sans vis-à-vis.Maison propre, très bien équipée et bien agencée. La piscine, de par sa taille et la proximité avec la maison, est très agréable.La mise à disposition des vélos est très appréciable et pratique avec la proximité du centre village, du supermarché et de la voie verte. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et disponibles si nécessaire.Pour des vacances tranquilles au calme, c'est un très bon endroit !

Nous avons passé des très bonnes vacances dans la maison Magnolia. Tout était bien en ordre et l'accueil de Françoise et Serge était parfait. La grande piscine est magniqfue pour se baigner à tout moment de la journée. L'intérieur est beau et bien aménagé. La voie verte est un atout en plus.Deux petites suggestions: un parasol auprès de la piscine pour pouvoir manger aux deux tables et un peu plus de couteaux pour s'il y a 6 personnes. Merci!

Super séjour

La maison est très bien agencée et tout confort. La piscine est superbe. Il y a de belles balades à faire avec des beaux sites à visiter dans le secteur. Propriétaire très agréable. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Exceptionnel !

Propriété magnifique, meublée avec grand soin et avec goût. Piscine très agréable à toute heure de la journée. Aménagement paysager soigné. Propriété très bien entrenue et d'une propreté exceptionnelle. Plein de choses à visiter aux alentours. Propriétaires très sympathiques, prévenants et disponibles. Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Je recommande !

A little haven of peace

Delightful property with a lovely pool and helpful owners. A short stroll to the bakery and loads to enjoy in the area. Quite the friendliest area in France too.

Lovely property in Lavardac

I just spent 11 weeks in this wonderful house, enjoying the fantastic, and very private swimming pool and spacious house/yard/garden. I could not have asked for a better stay. The hosts Francoise and Serge are charming, attentive and responsive. They regularly checked in with me to ensure all was well, and performed yard and pool maintenance throughout my long stay. The house is very comfortable and provisioned with everything you could need for your vacation there. The beds and linens were super comfortable (important to me), and I could not get enough of the views from every aspect. Lavardac is a small and charming village, with 2 boulangeries/patisseries, a cafe, pharmacies,, i was a happy attendee at the weekly Lavardac marche, as well as the nearby Nerac marche. Nerac is 7 minutes drive from Lavardac, a larger town with restaurants, shopping, and lots of historical charm. So all amenities you might need are close by. This property is within easy striking distance of an embarrassment of riches as far as beautiful villages and towns in the Lot Garonne (a few not to be missed are Agen, Pujols, Condom, Vianne, Villeneuve Sur Lot) and of course Bordeaux and Toulouse. Last but not least, the swimming pool…my refuge during the heat, and lying in the shade of the gorgeous Magnolia tree. It was all pretty magical. I am forever greatful to Francoise and Serge that I was able to call this place home for 3 months.

Très belle maison au calme

Très belle maison avec tout confort. Très propre, bonne literie, maison bien équipée, belle piscine avec douche extérieur (Dommage pas chauffée) Proche du centre ville, très calme, Beau jardin parfaitement entretenu, propriétaire très agréable. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Un séjour parfait

Nous étions une famille de 4 personnes avec 2 enfants de 5 et 8 ans. La location correspond parfaitement à la description. Il y a même plus de terrain qu'il n'y paraît. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et très disponibles. La piscine est magnifique, la maison est propre et le matériel de bonne qualité. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
