Welcome to The Nest. An Original Smoky Mountain Cabin. This true log cabin originally built in the 1700's was disassembled and rebuilt in its current location. This Cabin is secluded and off the beaten path. If that's what you are looking for then you found it! But the cabin is still close to everything! Best of both worlds! You get the authentic atmosphere of the Smokies with the rustic appeal, but all the modern amenities you could want. This cabin has been completely REHABBED with tons of custom features that give it the Smokies character with a modern touch. Sleeps up to 4, but great for that couple getaway or that perfect honeymoon. Two beautiful decks. One with all the privacy off the master and the hot tub with wooded and mountain views. Electric Fireplace (for Ambiance only, no heat) for that romantic/ cozy atmosphere.
A HUGE walk-in Couples Shower with rain head. This cabin has a history that still shows on the barn-style master bedroom door. It shows all the love from the previous guest who stayed at this cabin on their Honeymoon and left their mark when it was a Honeymoon cabin years ago. It's truly a ONE-OF-A-KIND! Easy to get to and a beautiful drive up the mountain with spectacular views of Mt LeConte on the way. (Only partial views of Mt LeConte from the front of cabin, wooded views from master bedroom deck and side deck) One lane, very well-maintained gravel lane to cabin. Secluded atop a beautiful mountain but just 7 miles from Gatlinburg. Less than 5 minutes off the Arts and Crafts Trail. 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The perfect location for your Smoky Mountain experience in a TRUE Smoky Mountain Cabin. THIS IS NOT A PET-FRIENDLY CABIN. THERE ARE NO PETS ALLOWED AT THIS CABIN RENTAL. Please be aware Internet is hit and miss up in the mountains We have tried to find better service but satilite Internet is all that is available at this time.

We had an AMAZING stay at The Nest! We were able to easily locate the cabin and check in was simple. The cabin was clean, calm, and cozy. It met two very big requirements: a nice shower and a comfortable bed. The hot tub was just the cherry on top! Finally, the hosts were helpful and kind. Thank you so very much! I loved how quiet and remote the location was. Everything about the cabin was perfect for the two of us from the shower to the kitchen to the bedroom to the hot tub. Communication with the host was perfect. We would definitely go back.

This cabin was so charming! It is rustic, but it’s clear the hosts put a lot of care and effort into making it a comfortable place to stay, with lots of amenities.For those that prioritize privacy, there is one cabin across the road and one up the hill, but it’s very much off the beaten path. If you’re driving a truck I recommend getting there during daylight because the roads are narrow. I had pretty good cell service with AT&T, but don't go expecting to stream movies all day. Overall, we had a great time, and would definitely come back.

The cabin was so cute! It had great amenities, was well decorated, and perfect for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The drive out to the cabin is a little scary, I’m actually glad we did it in the dark the first time because we couldn’t see how steep the drop off was, haha! But it was fine, we never had any issues and we even had to do the drive with some random November snow! The cabin was very comfortable. On our 3rd night there the temperature decreased dramatically. We stayed cozy in the cabin but just know if you’ll be there in the colder months that socks or house slippers are a must as the floor gets rather cold. All in all, The Nest was a great place to stay for my husband and I. It was close to everything we wanted to do in the area (Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and even Buk-ee’s in Sevierville) and provided a secluded, quiet getaway with a lovely view. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it completely!

It was very nice, beautiful, as described. Coupons available that we used, plenty of fridge space, some seasonings, cute guest book. Nice hot tub. Perfect place for couples.We requested an early check in and were told that was not possible so we explored gatlinburg until our check in time cameThe cabin was unfortunately not ready upon check in. We walked in the cabin and were surprised to find towels, trash bags, things everywhere, and then the cleaner came from the back porch which we also didnt expect. I thought maybe we were in the wrong place.The cleaner was very sweet and appologetic, we just dont know what was going on. We were not early or anything but she seemed to think that 4:00 was not supposed to be check in time despite what our booking info said.We ended up helping with cleaning so we could get settled quicker and start our last days of our anniversary trip.After that everything was fine and it was beautiful.

The cabin is in good condition and in a nice, peaceful location. The bed is super comfortable but the couch is not. The main issue we had is that the photos of the property do not reveal a set of steps inside the cabin to reach the bedroom. My wife, who has physical mobility issues, had a lot of trouble navigating the steps.

The cabin was rustic and charming. The couch was a bit uncomfortable but once we put the bed pillows on it, it was fine. The acorns dropping on the steel roof made us laugh right out loud. The kitchen was perfect with everything we needed. Very secluded and quiet. Thank you. While here, we celebrated our 10th anniversary . Easy access to shows in Pigeon Forge

The Nest is beautiful. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Getting to it was a bit of a challenge.It is relatively secluded. Two Cabins nearby. Kathy was extemely nice.

Quiet, cozy and amazing! the location at the end of the road surrounded by forest is private without being to far away from all the fun. The hot tub was perfect after a long day and the small space is decorated nicely and comfortable. Perfect for a couple to get away from it all and reset. Thank you for such a great experience!

This is amazing cabin. With other cabins nearby, we still had the feeling that we were in a very private and secluded setting. For the most part the sounds of nature were all that we heard. Check-in was easy, our travel time was longer than expected. We had all of the information with us. The Check-out process was even better. I was surprised how well our GPS work in the area this year. It took us directly to the cabins. The roads in some places were narrow and windy. However, that was not a problem for us because we like traveling the back roads of the Smokies. This year turned out the easiest for us in getting around in the area. The kitchen was one of the smaller ones that we had in the past. However, it worked for us. The bed was very comfortable. We love hearing the rain hatting the metal roof. The wall decoration above the fireplace impressed me. It is the logo of our church. If someone is looking for a cabin that is very private and secluded, this is the one for you.

Cost Stay at The Nest

If you are looking for a private “off the beaten path to get away from the hustle and bustle of life” cabin, The Nest is the place. We enjoyed the peaceful environment. The cabin is rustic yet has all the modern elements to make it comfortable.

Beautiful Smokey Mountain Getaway!

My fiance and I stayed here for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer!!! The cabin was absolutely beautiful and we got so many ideas for our future home! It is definitely off the beaten path but that’s exactly what I wanted. We will be back!

A perfect birthday getaway!

This little “nest” is so cute and perfect for a quick escape from reality. Gave me most relaxing birthday I’ve celebrated in years! It was so nice just to spend time together in a quiet and peaceful space. The cabin was clean and organized, it had everything we needed! Thank you Kathy for being such a great host. Will definitely be looking to comeback soon!
