Welcome to The Nest. An Original Smoky Mountain Cabin. This true log cabin originally built in the 1700's was disassembled and rebuilt in its current location. This Cabin is secluded and off the beaten path. If that's what you are looking for then you found it! But the cabin is still close to everything! Best of both worlds! You get the authentic atmosphere of the Smokies with the rustic appeal, but all the modern amenities you could want. This cabin has been completely REHABBED with tons of custom features that give it the Smokies character with a modern touch. Sleeps up to 4, but great for that couple getaway or that perfect honeymoon. Two beautiful decks. One with all the privacy off the master and the hot tub with wooded and mountain views. Electric Fireplace (for Ambiance only, no heat) for that romantic/ cozy atmosphere.
A HUGE walk-in Couples Shower with rain head. This cabin has a history that still shows on the barn-style master bedroom door. It shows all the love from the previous guest who stayed at this cabin on their Honeymoon and left their mark when it was a Honeymoon cabin years ago. It's truly a ONE-OF-A-KIND! Easy to get to and a beautiful drive up the mountain with spectacular views of Mt LeConte on the way. (Only partial views of Mt LeConte from the front of cabin, wooded views from master bedroom deck and side deck) One lane, very well-maintained gravel lane to cabin. Secluded atop a beautiful mountain but just 7 miles from Gatlinburg. Less than 5 minutes off the Arts and Crafts Trail. 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The perfect location for your Smoky Mountain experience in a TRUE Smoky Mountain Cabin. THIS IS NOT A PET-FRIENDLY CABIN. THERE ARE NO PETS ALLOWED AT THIS CABIN RENTAL. Please be aware Internet is hit and miss up in the mountains We have tried to find better service but satilite Internet is all that is available at this time.

Winter break getaway

We had a wonderful time, with a little extra adventure in the 3-4” snow and 11 degree temperatures. The snow and icy road were a little challenging for our non-4 wheel drive truck but everything with our stay was perfect. Secluded, clean, nicely maintained, beautiful scenic views in the travels to and from.

Lovely cabin

What an amazing cabin. Feels so homey and cozy! This cabin is beautifully restored and the modern touches are beautiful. The hosts really showed "true southern hospitality" with the extras in the kitchen, and living room. (coffee and filters, small space heater, etc). We loved the cabin... Know the road to is narrow and curvy. We would enjoy staying again!

Great Cabin!

We enjoyed our stay and time away from our 5 kids. It was exactly as described. I loved the access to the washer/dryer so we could throw our bathing suits and towels in the dryer in between trips into the hot tub.

The Nest

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nest. The property was clean and cozy and perfect for a couple’s getaway! Kathleen our host was amazing and was easily reachable via text or message. The peaceful surroundings and cozy feel definitely makes us want to come back again!

Best Nest Ever

My bf and I went for a short vacay in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for my bday extension. The cabin made far from our expectation. Its very beautiful cabin, clean, it’s close to the places we went, the hot tub is a plus and the comfy bed too! Everything is wonderful and will definitely comeback and recommend this cabin to my friends.

Amazing Stay!

We had an unforgettable honeymoon at this beautiful place! It was incredibly clean—truly the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in. The location was perfect, right in the middle, so we were able to explore both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg easily. The host thought of every little detail, from providing board games to offering local coupons, which made our experience even more special. The thoughtful touches and cozy atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Retirement get away

The Nest is everything we were looking for in a rustic place with some modern amenities. The location is great with the quietness of the area. The drive to the cabin is a little nerve racking but would not want it any other way. Will come back again.

A Wonderful Getaway at a Charming Cabin!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by its cleanliness and inviting atmosphere. It truly provided a wonderful escape from our routine. The host was exceptional, offering clear directions and assistance whenever needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Their attention to detail and willingness to provide helpful information were greatly appreciated. We’re already looking forward to coming back in the future! I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or honeymoon. You won't be disappointed!

Peaceful retreat

Property is exactly as advertised. When we showed up just after check-in time the cabin hadn't yet been cleaned from the previous renters, but one text to Kathy and "Lisa" was on her way. Found out that Lisa was just behind schedule that particular day and within 10mins had the place spiffed up and the hot tub water being drained and refilled. We would definitely stay here again and hope to one day soon. Extremely nice people to deal with.

Amazing property/best host ever!!!

The nest is an amazing cabin! My husband and I came for our 7th anniversary and are planning on coming back in may and bringing our child! This cabin is the perfect spot tucked away from all the chaos of pigeon forge! Just a short drive to get to everything but when you are ready for some peace and quite the nest is where it is at! Hot tub was amazing to relax in! Had everything you could ask for from a host! The bed is so comfortable! We felt like we were right at home. Oh yeah! We can’t forget charmin the bear! Charmin is at the front of the cabin ready to greet you when you get there!! This was one of the best cabins we have rented in our 7 years of marriage! The host is so understanding and willing to do what ever! We were unsure if we could make it due to the hurricane hitting western North Carolina and us coming from North Carolina and Mrs. Kathy was so easy to work with on us figuring out what we could do! Great people!!

The Nest

Really enjoyed our stay at The Nest. Appreciated all the little extra special touches the owner provides. You can tell they take pride in their cabin. Very clean and comfortable and decorated nicely. We thought the bed was cozy and comfortable. Easy check in and found the Wifi was more than adequate for our needs. Also happy to see well written & helpful info for the TV remotes and other things that some cabins seem to overlook. Loved the hot tub!

Couldn't have loved it more.

This location is genuinely an incredible choice for a getaway. It is completely secluded, the owners are beyond kind, it gives the perfect "cabin-in-the-mountains cozy feel", the drive is gorgeous, and it's very well put together and clean. I cannot recommend it more, this is an amazing srat.
