Private Chalet - Relax and unwind or recreate to your heart's content

This custom built studio Chalet is ideal for families or close friends looking to get away from it all. It's located on a (mostly) private 4 acre lot with several lakes, the Birkenhead river nearby and is only 35 minutes to Whistler Resort.
It's the ideal base for skiing, mountain biking, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, and golfing. We offer several experiences or can suggest activities and destinations in the area.

Please note, This is NOT a "party house". ALL guest (Maximum 6 adults + 2 kids) must be registered. (Not 8 adults - Special exemptions upon request ONLY)
Rates are based on 2 people plus an additional fee/pp/night.
Access is via a keypad/key combo which allows access to the Chalet. Restricted access is to a garage which may need to be accessed by staff members from time to time (with advance notice) A caretaker visits the property to ensure all is well.

Playing in the snow…

The property is rustic & private. Very unique design & superbly equipped. Many thoughtful touches - loads of games, puzzles, blue tooth speaker, extra linens, pillows, towels. Lots of books to store things.Doug was very quick to respond to minor needs & gracious in accommodating those.

Perfect getaway cabin in the woods

Owl Creek

Fun and funky! Definitely not handicap friendly but we enjoyed our stay. There is so much to do and see in the area that we didn't spend a lot of time in the chalet. Take a walk up the hill in front of the house for a great view. Host was awesome.

wonderful stay in a cozy, remote property

Pemberton rural stay

This place is a great backwoods style Canadian house. The location is great and we did some nice hikes and swam in a nearby lake. All very close. The view from the knob in front of the place is excellent. Our one issue is that the stairs up to the loft were too challenging for several people in our group who are not as mobile as they once were, especially at night.

Great out of the way cabin

Far enough from the business of Whistler but close enough to drive in for the day. Kids enjoyed exploring the property and hikes. Property manager was very responsive and helpful

cozy winter getaway

My partner and I really enjoyed staying here for our New Years. It was very cozy and comfortable. The fireplace and firewood were such a great perk as well as the kitchen for cooking during our stay and the very cozy loft bed. We will definitely stay again. Doug was very communicative and available when we needed. Thank you!

Beautiful remote cabin

Close enough to to Whistler, far enough from Whistler - if you get my meaning. Love to be away from the crowds but lunch in town was nice too. Amenities were as described. Very nice place.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

This was a lovely cabin with everything needed provided for. The owner was very communicative leading up to our arrival and the property even had some fun games for our use (like bocci ball and frisbee golf). Not to mention that there were plenty of things provided for in case someone didn't have something. Forgot your toothbrush? Sunscreen? Bug spray? No problem. The lookout area is definitely a great suggestion for a spot to relax. You can see it from the balcony and once you head up there it is a gorgeous view. Lovely place for a getaway.

Pleasant and Secluded Cabin

The property was clean and the surroundings serene. The hike up to the aptly named Mosquito Lake was pleasant, though you'll want to bring bug spray! We had five people, so having only one washroom was a bit cumbersome, but not a major gripe. Water pressure, bedding, and the overall setup were all excellent. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it for you and your friends or family.

Ultra Relaxing Getaway

The property is gorgeous. The cabin was super cozy and cute. The lookout in the front yard is so amazing. Comfy beds. We came to escape the city for a few nights. We holed ourselves in reading books, playing games and cooking nice meals. It was perfect! Finished our days off with a nice little fire (wood provided - so generous). Doug (the owner) was always available, though the cabin is so well set up, you won’t even need him.

This property is close to everything yet feels far removed. It's a literal gateway to essentially every mountain sport you can imagine. The climate is hot and dry in summers yet the region still gets epic snow in winters.

The property itself is quite private with plenty of room to enjoy with a mix of flat terrain and rocky outcrops with 360 degree view of the entire area.
