The cabin and location are wonderful! Beautiful rural mountain views and a very short walk to the lovely downtown of Great Barrington.The driveway and access street are very steep, maybe a bit much for seniors traveling alone, We were able to get my wife in with her walker, but I was glad to have my son-in-law there to help.

A great location, and beautiful home! The perfect place for our family to spend a holiday weekend. House was very well stocked, and hosts were very responsive!

Place was immaculate. Our second time here and host upgraded many things including the deck furniture, grill, couch, shower heads, lighting, music and kitchen, including an air fryer and kettle heater, This place is the Waldorf of rentals. Extremely high end!

Gorgeous, comfortable house. It’s a great location - just be aware the house is up a very steep hill so anyone with mobility issues or bad knees should be prepared to drive in and out of town instead of walking.

Great location!

We really enjoyed being right by town. Great place to stay, very well laid out and very clean. Would definitely stay there again!

Great accomodations, great location

Beautiful house, clean, new, in amazing location, on hill but very easy walking distance to both downtown and Lake Mansfield.

Summer getaway

The house is in a perfect location for traveling with teens and pups! An east walk to town and trails, and a comfortable space for all!

2 min walk to town. Every morning we would take a stroll to one of many coffee shops. Can’t beat this location.

Wonderful Experience and Great Home

We spent 3 nights with old friends to ski, eat and catch up early March. We had a great time. The location is ideal, the home is beautiful and the weather cooperated. Highly recommend this property.

Excellent Great Barrington Stay

Perfect place to meet up with family coming from Albany Boston and New York. Spacious area and immaculately kept. Great layout to spend time and short walk to town. Big plus farmer’s market was open. Travel up the road alongside the tracks was precarious but manageable. Would love to come back.agaiin.

Hiking

Beautiful house and very clean. Close to downtown. We had a great time hiking. Loved the tv room with the fireplace and the outside deck!

Short get away

The property is gorgeous although finding it can be a bit challenging. Once you realize the driving along the railroad tracks means exactly that, you see the house and know it’s worth it. Walking to town is easy and the property is well appointed and very comfortable.

GREAT BARRINGTON

House was very beautiful and clean. Plenty of room for a large family . Quiet and private street although its right next to train tracks honestly only heard the train once . AMAZING views of the deck and relaxing . Would definitely like to rent this home again. Thank you for the pleasant experience 😊 ☺️

Family Reunion

The house is a convenient 5 minute walk to downtown Great Barrington for dinning, shopping, playground, etc. We were in GB for a family reunion, so meeting family at GB Eats for breakfast was perfect. The house was as advertised, clean and well equipped. The road access needs to be regraded for some, but we were in SUV's, so no issue for us.

Really nice stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The pros are you can easily walk to the great downtown. It’s a big hill but a very close walk. And you can walk to the lake which is great for kids. The property was very clean and works well if you need 3 bedrooms. It’s not a huge lawn but big enough for kids to play. Only cons are the kitchen equipment is hit or miss and the grill is not in amazing shape, which makes cooking a little tricky.

A wonderful Holiday respite

We loved this home. We'd originally planned to stay here with extended family, but thanks to COVID-19, it was just three of us--my wife, our toddler, and myself. It would have been large enough for all of us, but was also intimate-feeling enough that we enjoyed it as a threesome. Our host was a great communicator and very helpful. We particularly loved that we could walk down to get coffee in town very easily. We'd definitely book this home again!

Beautiful Log Cabin Home

This is a great log home to rent. It sleeps a lot of people and the common spaces are large and accommodating. It's a quick walk to downtown Great Barrington. This was a great place for our dog, who had to sniff everything. Spectacular views from the mostly glass side of the living room. We did have a bit of a checkout issue which I won't detail, as I'm pretty certain it was the managing agent's and not the owners fault. Highly recommend.

Happy Haven

We stayed in this VRBO on a recent trip to visit family. The house and property are very well maintained with just a couple of easy tweaks. Dish Towels! LOL! The view is beautiful. And walking distance to town and our favorite restaurant, Praiprie Whale! We will visit again. Thanks Lucas!

Home base for Miraval spa day trips

This house was the perfect home base for a girls getaway to the Miraval Spa. Five of us slept very comfortably in the house, with space for more if you have larger groups. The Miraval Spa was 20-25 minutes away and the house was a great, more economical alternative to staying overnight at the spa, given the size of our group. The house manager was very communicative and checked in several times during our stay. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. The house was also a short walk right to the heart of Main Street in Great Barrington. Great experience and would be very happy to rent again.
