Nice three-room apartment (80 sqm.) In a prestigious 17th-century house, in the heart of the historic center of Lecce (via Umberto I), adjacent to the Basilica of Santa Croce, a few steps from the main monuments and all the other tourist attractions of the city; ideal for a holiday between culture and traditions, fun and relaxation. The apartment, served by a lift, is on the second and last floor of the building, and has a splendid and fully equipped terrace on the level (40 sq m). The property is located in an urban area with limited traffic from 9.00 p.m. to 06.00 a.m. on weekdays and on public holidays, and from 0.00 to 24.00 on holidays. The transit and temporary stop of vehicles for loading and unloading baggage are therefore easy during the authorized hours. Prolonged parking is never allowed near the historic building; however, many parking areas, free or paid, where required also guarded or in the garage, are located in the immediate vicinity outside the historic center (distance 200 ml. from Casa Vacanze Ayroldi). The city of Lecce is strategically located; easily reachable by car, train and plane (Salento Airport 45 Km.). With easy movements, autonomous or by public transport, it is also possible to reach all the most famous seaside and tourist resorts of the Salento Peninsula.

We had a wonderful stay in Angelo's spacious apartment. It is the perfect place to visit Lecce and the surrounding area as it is centrally located and has easy access to the train station and car rental companies. Angelo was very helpful and answered all our questions promptly. The "deck" is wonderful on a sunny day and adds to the overall openness of the apartment. We were very happy here.

Great location!

We loved staying in Lecce and this flat! The balcony was the best and we spent a lot of time out there sipping wine, watching the sun set, and the swallows speeding around. The location was great access to the central piazza, shopping, and good dining and drinks.the train station was a 20 minute walk and made for great access to the region. The host was timely and helpful!

Superb property

First rate property located in grandiose building located in central and safe position with wonderful roof terrace. Apartment could be better equipped but agents were extremely helpful and provided all we asked for. Communications excellent and agents were very accommodating of our late arrival after our train was cancelled.

Property is very dated, dark and not welcoming

The location was fantastic and Angelo was very helpful when we requested information. The hot water heater went out and it was serviced immediately. I did request different pillows due to the ones being very difficult to sleep on. The property needs alot of TLC. Due to old furniture and kitchen appliances the overall feeling is not wanting to hang out much. It would not take much to update the aparement. The location is great and the restaurant right across from the apartment was fantastic. I say all of the above in hopes the owner will take some of rental income and update the apartment. I would not stay again due to the above. Angelo was a great host and I wish him well. Grazie

L'emplacement à deux pas du Duomo dans le centre historique est idéal. Nous avons pu découvrir la ville avec une grande facilité. Le logement est spacieux et très confortable avec une belle terrasse. Un seul petit souci, le réglage de la climatisation, quand une chambre est froide, l'autre trop chaude.Important : il faut simplement bien prévoir avant où se garer, l'hôte donne tous les renseignements pour cela et nous reçoit en personne. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié.

This is a lovely classic 2-bedroom apartment with period charm and a nice terrace in a wonderful building in the old town. Super close to cultural sites and restaurants and walkable, with easy access to a reasonably priced parking garage a few blocks away. I think the apartment needs a "refresh" though. The older model fridge's temperature could not be adjusted. It froze the food we bought (which thankfully was not much). Some kitchen appliances were broken. The apartment was little sparse on the amenities (we needed more kitchen towels and a new sponge, plus extra pillows for the bed), the mattresses are hard and needed a least a memory foam topper. The sitting area would benefit from a coffee table. The toilet tank made scary noises when flushed. The other surprising thing was the lights in the public spaces. They were all on a timer so we would go out and come back into the building at night and it was pitch-black inside!

Emplacement parfait!

Wow! Quel séjour dans ce magnifique appartement!Au cœur de la vieille ville de Lecce, grande terrasse sur le toit parfait pour l’apéro.Petit resto au pied de l’immeuble servant un merveilleux petit déjeuner.Pleins d’excellents resto tout au tour.Une communication parfaite avec Angelo.Merci!

Muy buena ubicación. El apartamento amplio sin embargo la llegada fue un poco incómoda ya Europa depto se encontraba en el ático del edificio. Escaleras muy estrechas con para subir las maletas. Buena atención de la anfitriona/recepcionista.

Loving Lecce

The apartment was very central and very easy to find from the directions given. It was convenient to all the places we wanted to visit and was very comfortable and cool. Lots of really nice places to eat and drink close by. The Crianza restaurant is great but it is probably best to book as it gets very busy. It was a great trip. A great place to stay and I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Great location and roof deck

Amazing location, very quiet but feels like it’s in the middle of where you want to be in the historic city. And there is a great roof deck. The apartment is really good value so don’t expect perfection (for example: there was one glass and no bread knife or salt and pepper), but for the price it’s a very satisfying apartment.

Très agréable

Bien accueilli et bien guidé ,car nous sommes arrivés en voiture et pas toujours simple dans une ville...appartement très bien placé pour visiter la ville historique, très spacieux et une super terrasse. Le seul bémol; pas 2 vrais chambres ,un lave vaisselle et un four qui ne fonctionne pas.

Perfect spot, perfect flat

Great location for a perfectly appointed flat in centro storica Lecce. Very easy to get around. Comfortable furnishings, beautiful terrace.mattia was very gracious about explaining how to use new technology needed for check-in and out. Very kind and very patient!

Casa molto carina, pulita e confortevole, in un ottima posizione, molto centrale. Host gentili e disponibili. Unica pecca il numero delle stoviglie, molto limitate in cinque persone. Per il resto perfetta

Great place near historical center!

Parfait pour un couple et deux enfants en bas âge. Nous avons été très chaleureusement accueillis, l'appartement est spacieux et pratique, en plein centre de cette magnifique ville. Très belle terrasse sur le toit. Rien à redire!

Gentile ospite grazie per la sua recenzione, è stato un piacere poterla ospitare. Aggiungo solo una precisazione, la lavastoviglie e il forno sono non funzionanti, per scelta della proprietà, ma ciò è ben evidenziato nell'elenco delle dotazioni dell'appartamento. In appartamento esiste una caffettiera tipica italiana (napoletana) per 5 tazze nel nostro caffè (ristretto). Grazie ancora Angelo ed Annalisa.

Fijn appartement, geweldige locatie

De woning was schoon en verzorgd, beddegoed en handdoeken fris, in badkamer doucheschuim, zeep en wc papier aanwezig, in keuken olie, azijn, peper, zout en als welkom wat fruit, water, juice en wat Italiaanse hartige koekjes met lekkere olijfolie. We werden allerhartelijks ontvangen door Annalisa die ons ook verder van alle benodigde informatie voorzag. De ruimte in het appartement is prima, mooie vloer en deuren, prachtig terras. Het enige wat beter zou kunnen is de voorziening in de keuken; Als je ook thuis wat zou willen koken (wat wij niet deden) dan is het wel echt behelpen zonder adequaat kookgereedschap en een niet werkende oven en afwasmachine. Maar dat weegt niet op tegen de hiervoor genoemde zeer positieve punten!

Great location, great hospality, if you are looking for the place to be: it is here!

We spent e week in Lecce in in Ayrolidis Apartment, and it was great. We were welcomed with some fresh fruit (because of the summer with 37 °C in the fridge) and nice welcome-introduction in the apartment and Lecce. You will find yourself right in the old town of Lecce, just where the bars and restaurant area begins. The apartment really is spacious, clean and well equipped. They have furniture, a sun protection and armchairs on the huge terrace, now (and automatically flower watering on the terrace!). WIFI is working well.The aircon is working well. You can find a free parking-space close to the apartment, just outside the old town. The only thing to do wrong, is, not booking here ;-) (I really mean it!)
