This is a hidden gem right on the St. Lawrence River. Our hosts were gracious and friendly and are very detail oriented - they are very customer focused. This was our first VRBO experience and I would highly recommend this location to all my friends & family. We enjoyed spending hours on the deck overlooking the river. This was an amazing vacation!

Very clean cottage with everything you need. Thankful for it being pet friendly, our dog loves the river. Hosts are very friendly and easy to work with.

Spotless cottage (with kind of a rustic, modern, boathouse vibe), fully equipped, incredibly thoughtful attention to detail. Susan was easy to communicate with and it was lovely to meet Carlos at the property to get the lay of the land. The location on Wellesley Island was convenient and afforded stunning views of boats, boats, and more boats (LOVE those big ones).

Great stay

The cottage is perfect. Everything you need, great location, lots of outdoor seating areas and beautiful River views. Book it before it's gone, it is perfect.

We had such an amazing vacation, and so much of it was because of how beautiful, peaceful, and serene this home and property are. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive. We had a small issue with the dishwasher during our stay, and the host went out of his way to come over and take a look at it, which we really appreciated.The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful views and plenty of space to truly relax and unwind. Our kids loved running around and fishing with their dad...they caught a ton of bass right from the property! Our dog loved it here too.There is so much to do around Wellesley Island and the Thousand Islands, including hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, and more. This was our second time visiting the area, and we’ll definitely be back.Thank you for helping make this such a beautiful and memorable family vacation!

Great Stay

We had a fantastic stay at the cottage in the Thousand Islands. The property was exactly as advertised—clean, comfortable, and incredibly relaxing. Wellesley Island retreat

Fantastic location with many spots for relaxing! Our hosts have done a great job with their property, and included many thoughtful extras upon arrival. In the forty years we’ve traveled to the area, this was our favorite!

Beautiful house and great location

My family and I had a wonderful, relaxing week at the property. Loved sitting on the deck and watching the ships go by. Lots of amenities as well as a bridge pass which came in handy for the short drive to Clayton and Alexandria Bay.

Awesome place!

This place was absolutely beautiful. They had everything we possibly needed from towels to washer and dryer. Very clean, with stunning views and river access. We would love to stay here again! 10/10.

An ideal setting to enjoy the St. Lawrence River from the deck, dock, or even sitting up in bed. Watching the cargo ships glide by so close is breathtaking and we got excited about each one. The cottage is beautifully and comfortably decorated and the hospitality of the hosts is unprecedented. Carlos and Susan have thought about what vacationing travelers need to be comfortable, and then went a step further! The kitchen is totally stocked with every appliance, cookware, and utensil you might want, and then some. The bathrooms had courtesy supplies in case one forgot toiletries. There was even laundry detergent provided. The bedding and towels were high-quality and bleached clean. Overall, a rare “luxury” type of stay on the River. We will be back.

Most beautiful place in the Narrows!

This is an excellent property! Clean and so modern inside! It had every amenity we could have wanted and more. Watching the BIG ships go by was our goal and this house was perfect! I've been visiting the St. Lawrence River for over 40 years and I highly recommend this beautiful cabin in the Narrows!

Our stay was so restful. We loved watching the boats from the deck and also the yard. The property is right on the water and it was clean enough to swim. Refreshing!!! Our hosts checked on us to make sure everything was satisfactory. It far exceeded our expectations.

Lovely Cottage/Lovely Spot

This is a lovely well-appointed property whose photographs are very accurate. The hosts are very responsive and clearly had their guests in mind in furnishing the property. It is a fantastic location, very relaxing. We would definitely consider renting this property again. Scott P.

Wellesley Island

Our stay was everything we hoped it to be. Visited family, watched ships, enjoyed the waterfront deck view, nice tvs, nicely stocked kitchen, very quiet and wonderful hosts. Super nice that a bridge pass was included. The tokens of appreciation left by host were super thoughtful. We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.
