Quiet and dark location. Perfect for watching the stars. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Beds were comfy,lots of towels. perfect for two people, but three would’ve been a tight squeeze. Place was very clean.

We enjoyed the tranquility of this cottage and all it offered. It was clean, well stocked, and easy to communicate with the host. The song birds and the sounds of the waves were just an added bonus!

Perfect peaceful getaway. So cozy yet so much space! Far away from crowds but also close enough to enjoy all of the wonderful touristy things in PEI. My dog is beyond happy here running free....summer heaven!

Great little cottage in a quiet corner of PEI. It was clean and well equipped - appreciated the mosquito coils for sitting out on the porch in the evening.

Perfect cottage getaway for my daughter and I before she heads off to University. Very cozy and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Lots of little touches and a nice beach vibe. We loved it and will recommend!

A wonderful piece of heaven—so quiet and relaxing. All the amenities anyone could ask for. We enjoyed a delicious homemade lobster dinner because everything was provided that we’d need. Will definitely come back to stay!

Perfect little cottage

We never had to drive far to get to one of the many beaches nearby. The property had everything we needed and more. The birds and wildlife were one of the many highlights.

Island lifestyle

This little cottage was perfect for our family and a great location for exploring the north cape. Kitchen was fully equipped and great for cooking our own meals. We would stay here again for sure!

Absolutely beautiful! So quiet and full of wildlife. The cottage was clean and charming. The bed was to comfortable. I could sit and listen to the sounds of nature all day while looking over the cape. Will definitely stay again!

I want to begin by saying the owner/host is lovely and kind. The location is fantastic! And the cottage, as a whole with grounds and outdoor amenities is really good. We came with a large dog who loved the big green in front of the house and having the fire pit was fun, as well as, the front porch with chairs and table. The inside of the cottage is quaint and sweet. We had everything we needed; the cottage is well equipped. However, I think there are a few things that would be helpful to know. The bedroom is very nearly 100% filled with the bed (which was a nice bed). That's not necessarily a bad thing, but maybe would have been something we would have considered with our dog who is accustomed to laying beside me on the floor. As well, the water supply is well water which again is not a "bad" thing, but would have been good to know in advance. Sadly, the bathroom was quite lacking in cleanliness - particularly the shower - and the sink drain was nearly completely plugged. I would recommend this property for those who are "all in" with the whole package.

PEI revisited

Nice private cabin. Did day trips to as many beaches as we could walk. Just a great way to unwind in vacation.

Welcoming accommodations!

Such a great place, everything you could possibly need in a compact space. Great for exploring Western PEI. Atticus enjoyed the wide open lawn to chase his ball and we enjoyed the view.

The Crooked Cottage was exactly what we needed. It was very cute and comfortable and very convenient for us to travel to and from our newly purchased vacant property in the area. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

The Crooked Cottage

A very beautiful, relaxing location. The cottage was fully equipped and so well stocked with everything we could imagine or ever need on a stay. Loved the view from the covered deck of the water and the local animal life {rabbits, squirrels and several species of birds including a couple of raptors.

Lovely little cottage

The cottage was a great place to stay and relax and unwind. Great ambience. It’s well provisioned for summer with lots of cookware, bedding, candles, bbq ietc. and is located on a lovely piece of property above the red sandstone cliffs. Other than challenging cell coverage (but good WiFi) it was a great place to stay.

Great Getaway Stay

We really liked Crooked Cottage…it was a nice location,vey peaceful and relaxing. The cottage had everything we needed for cooking our own meals. Short drive to a nice beach and grocery stores in both directions.The veranda on the cottage was great…a nice place to sit and soak up the view. The owner Catherine was easily accessible…checked with us to see how things were going… We would definitely go back as it was a most enjoyable spot.

Highly recommend

Property and cottage has everything you need. Pretty ocean lookout spot is a bonus. Wifi and BBQ both worked well. Host was easy to reach and helpful. Looking forward to returning to the Crooked Cottage next time we're out east!!
