Come on out the Ranch! Our 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment (barndominium) sits atop our working barn at the -MT ranch. Stop and take in a true Montana experience, watch the foals play in the field and enjoy the steers, horses, and other barn animals. Go check out the elk farm a couple hundred yards away or enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun come up while the Bull Elk and Buffalo are a window view away. You can enjoy your stay without going anywhere but we are conveniently located just minutes to Kalispell, and Flathead Lake. Centrally located between 2 ski resorts Whitefish Mountain and Blacktail Mountain. Take a 36 mile drive to Glacier National Park. Enjoy 360 scenic views of the surrounding mountains on this 2nd story Barndominium. Fully furnished with King bed master and queen guest room. Tile and wood floors with granite counter tops. We also just installed an A/C system in the main living area. Heading to Glacier National Park? https://www.nps.gov/glac/learn/news/glacier-national-park-2023-vehicle-reservations-open-february-1.htm They have instituted a entry ticket system and start releasing Feb 1st.

Nice unique place to stay

We loved our time at the Barndominium. Hosts were super nice, communicative, responsive and have a nice ranch. Quiet area away from Kalispell. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, kitchen well suited, even a TV for the football games at night. Would certainly stay again.

Great place to stay.

Beautiful views of mountains out every window. Inside was tidy and looked taken care of! Had everything we needed to make a few meals there. Thanks for letting us stay!

Wonderful experience and Convienent to so many to so many incredible things!!

We used this spacious and clean barndominium as a base camp for day trips to Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Whitefish and several others. Suny and Sue were friendly and helpful. Great experience all around.

Great place, just know what you're booking...

The Cheffs are great hosts who had a well-appointed barndominium with everything you'd need during your stay. My only piece of advice would be knowing what you're booking before committing to a reservation....cows occupy the lower level of the barndo and as such, you will hear very clearly several cows mooing early in the morning and smell "barn" at the lower level. To be clear, the animals are completely separate from the guest entrance and the barn smells completely stay at the lower level; the main living area is quite comfortable, clean and smells great. The outdoor space, while it absolutely includes all the listed amenites, is not a very private space. Just wanted to note these items since these points of mention aren't discernable from the listing photos or description.

Great place to stay

Everything was beyond our expectations. The amenities were perfect and the property manager was very easy to communicate with and responded to our questions promptly and offered excellent referrals to our requests. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay.

Flathead Valley ranch

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious and clean barndominium... beautiful views, quiet and peaceful, and a great jumping off point for touring this region. Highly recommended.

This is a working ranch

First - the Barndominium is perfectly decorated and has everything that you will need during your stay. Sue and Suny are very nice, but they are also working. You will see them working with the animals and they are they will definitely answer your questions, other than that they let you do your thing. The two biggest issues for us was the no smoking policy. I am used to that on most properties, but this is a strict no smoking anywhere because of the hay. If you are a cigar smoker, you can always grab a camping chair and head down to the river. The second issue is the flies. You are staying above an actual barn, there are lots of flies. Keep the door closed and used the fly swatter, but be prepared this is a working ranch, there are flies. We loved our stay, and the hosts were super easy to work with. We would definitely recommend the Barndominium for anyone ready to spend a few days on a working ranch.

MT trip

Fun lodging above a working barn. Ranch setting with animals was perfect for our 12yr old (and me, the 72 yr old). Every amenity you could ask for in a very nice "cowboy" theme. Thx to owners.

Nice apartment, restful, clean

Very clean, comfortable property. Bedding was comfortable. quiet. Owner was there and busy but nice. TV reception was spotty and instruction for use were based on idea that you already were familiar with streaming services. I am not a rancher but could tell they have over grazed the property.

Lovely ranch destination

First time in a barndominium and was lovely! Very clean and comfortable. Power went out when getting ready one morning, but of course no fault of the owner. Her attention to the little details was wonderful! We appreciated the snacks and hat very much!! Perfect location to enjoy the surrounding small towns and visiting Glacier. Loved watching the kids practice their roping, getting ready for their rodeo. Highly recommend this rental!!

Fantastic and considerate

The space was amazing as promised and previously reviewed. When I got there, the playpen was already set up for my baby. This was a very helpful and thoughtful touch that was much appreciated! There were many thoughtful touches like this that were appreciated. We will definitely stay there again if given the opportunity.

Like home away from home but much more beautiful

This is a lovely, comfortable property with many thoughtful touches not seen in other VRBO properties (bathrobes, bear spray rental, facial tissues, dining suggestions, guest book with helpful suggestions for area attractions, etc.). Loved waking up to see the horses, mules, dogs and cats every day. The hot tub felt great after a day of exploring beautiful Montana. Barndominium very comfortable and relaxing space. Some days you can see the neighbor's bison and elk from the barndominium windows. We only slept in the king size bed and it was very comfortable. Both bedrooms good sized with large closets with hangers in the closets, dressers for your clothing. Additional sleeping quarters in the loft (two twin beds) accessed by a ladder.

Perfect Montana experience. Views were amazing. Barn was unique and excellent experience.

The barn was amazing. Views from every window. Sunset and sunrises. Hosts made sure they thought of everything you could need for your trip. Close to the city but in the country. Hosts descriptions were exactly how the Barn was. We would stay again!! 5 out of 5!

Montana Magic

Where do I start?! Our stay was nothing less than perfect. Sue and Suny are so welcoming and offered several suggestions on day trips and restaurants. The setting is like a Hallmark movie! All of the animals were adorable, especially the cats. Be sure to enjoy the sunrise, there's nothing like it. The barndominium was very comfortable with all the amenities and then some. The beds were extremely comfy! We loved staying at the property and have already talked about a return trip. My boyfriend proposed on our trip so this is a very special place for us. Thank you, Sue and Suny!
