Mountain Traveler Ranch Barndominium

Come on out the Ranch! Our 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment (barndominium) sits atop our working barn at the -MT ranch. Stop and take in a true Montana experience, watch the foals play in the field and enjoy the steers, horses, and other barn animals. Go check out the elk farm a couple hundred yards away or enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun come up while the Bull Elk and Buffalo are a window view away. You can enjoy your stay without going anywhere but we are conveniently located just minutes to Kalispell, and Flathead Lake. Centrally located between 2 ski resorts Whitefish Mountain and Blacktail Mountain. Take a 36 mile drive to Glacier National Park. Enjoy 360 scenic views of the surrounding mountains on this 2nd story Barndominium. Fully furnished with King bed master and queen guest room. Tile and wood floors with granite counter tops. We also just installed an A/C system in the main living area. Heading to Glacier National Park? https://www.nps.gov/glac/learn/news/glacier-national-park-2023-vehicle-reservations-open-february-1.htm They have instituted a entry ticket system and start releasing Feb 1st.

Beautiful place

We had a great time staying at the Barndominium. Our 4 kids enjoyed all the animals. We explored Glacier National Park each day and relaxed in the hot tub at night. It was perfect for our family.

A photographers paradise

The Barndominium was beautiful. The owners were extremely nice and easy to work with. It is perfectly located between the Bison Range, Flathead lake and Glacier. The surrounding areas are absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Highly recommend

Mattress and hot tub allowed us to rejuvenate our bodies. Kitchen was adequately supplied. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!!

When we saw the “barndominium” on a working ranch, we knew it was the place for us. The charm and comfort was great, and our hosts provided helpful advice as we planned our trip. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay for a family (and close to skiing!)

This was a great place to stay for a family - clean and relaxing setting. Close to both Whitefish and Blacktail ski areas. We loved the views each morning.

Nice unique place to stay

We loved our time at the Barndominium. Hosts were super nice, communicative, responsive and have a nice ranch. Quiet area away from Kalispell. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice, kitchen well suited, even a TV for the football games at night. Would certainly stay again.

Great place to stay

Wonderful experience and Convienent to so many to so many incredible things!!

We used this spacious and clean barndominium as a base camp for day trips to Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Whitefish and several others. Suny and Sue were friendly and helpful. Great experience all around.

Flathead Valley ranch

Glacier NP Mountain Ranch

Great Experience

Kids loved being immersed in the working ranch. Centrally located to many amazing sites! We are private people and felt very comfortable staying here. Definitely will be back in the future if our adventures take us back to this area!
