3 bedroom beach cottage with one master suite with spacious bathtub and separate shower, 2 extra bedrooms with second bathroom. French style kitchen with adjacent sitting area. Floor plan approx. 1750 sq. ft. Spacious lounge, dining room and French country kitchen with adjacent sitting area, breaks up the living spaces. Front garden with leafy shady trees and rope swing. BMW X5 SUV also available for use ON REQUEST. Beach towels, boogie boards, umbrellas available. Please note this is my home and has personal effects, books, photos, clothing (in some of the bedroom cupboards).

Comfortable house

Everything was perfect, we really enjoyed spending our vacations in the house, my daughter loved the jump, the house is very close to the beach but they don't accept dogs and we wanted to take them with us so we had to leave. It is a very quiet and safe place, we were very comfortable, we recommend it. Thank you very much, Mr. Lance.

Beautiful, comfortable and convenient

This place is lovely from the outside and cozy on the inside. Just a walk from the Hollywood Riviera where Starbuck’s, Trader Joe’s and restaurants are available. The beach is just a little bit farther. Wonderful to stay at a place so close to my childhood stomping grounds.

Convenient Location

The property was convenient for our needs. Guest was east to communicate with. The mini coffee pot needs to be replaced with something more fitting of house sleeping 6.

Great location, walkable to everything

Cute house with a great location. Was warm and stuffy when I arrived, but opened the windows and ran the fans to get comfortable. Great kitchen and outdoor space. House had everything I needed and a quick walk to Redondo.

Lovely Home - Perfect Setting

The house is near the beach and all conveniences yet feels quiet and peaceful. Lance was wonderfully helpful and accommodating. We felt very welcomed into his home and enjoyed our stay.

Great beach city getaway

We used this house to accommodate a stay with extended family for a wedding. It worked out just great. Lance was easy to contact and our stay was enjoyable.

Perfect Location

If you want a charming home that is welcoming this is a great place! Best location for our itinerary. Went for my son’s graduation at USC, family came in from NYC and have never been to CA. We were able to drive one day down the southern coast, the next day the northern coast and sight see. Had a gathering of 10 ppl for a graduation dinner, the kitchen was a dream to cook in. Loved how we could sit at the huge dining table and still converse with ppl in the family room. The neighborhood is adorable and quaint. Did not hear one neighbor. We felt like we were staying at a family members house, a home with character and comfort.

Quiet, Comfortable, Home Base

More than adequate accommodations at a very clean, quiet, and comfortable home in a nice Redondo neighborhood. Look no further for your home base refuge while visiting Redondo. Kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals if you so choose. Great space in dining room to serve up a meal to the family. Movies, books, area out back to sun or dine al fresco. Nice French countryside touch. Easy communication with Lance, but not intrusive at all. He left us to our visit but was available if we needed anything. We will stay again in the future!

Rose Bowl 2024!

We had a great time visiting our adult son and checking out Redondo Beach and Palos Verdes. This property was situated very nicely and allowed us to enjoy an amazing meal on New Years Eve. We had an enjoyable day at the Rose Bowl. The house was nice to return to after a day full of activities.

quaint home away from home

cozy little home just off PCH with lots of charm. beds are comfortable, master bath tub is nice. perfect for exploring around redondo or just hanging out. it is owner occupied so there are personal items from the owner in the home.

Tenants' refuge during a repair

Lance was so accommodating to the several unusual requests (pet, screens, etc.) and even though he was out of the country, found proxies to fulfill requests quickly! Thank you Lance for your flexibility, and hospitality! Definitely a recommended stay!

Family Time

My family traveled to Los Angeles to bury a loved one, my sister our spouses my son stayed at the home which is spacious beautifully decorated and full of natural light emitting through classic diamond lattice windows. A fabulous six burner grill and oven with a breakfast counter is the center piece of the greatroom which made the perfect setting for a post funeral gathering of family and friends. The dinning room is perfect for an abundance of food and conversation. The large living room provided a comfortable sofa where my 91 year old mother sat comfortably for hours telling stories and reminiscing with four generations of family. Thank you Lance for sharing your magnificent home, we hope to return next year to celebrate life!

Home away from Home

Wonderful place for a family! Kids loved the trampoline and the 2 fenced yards made it so safe for kids and my 2 small pups.The house was clean and very comfortable. Lance is a great host. He has provided everything you need and more. Nice bonus of jetted tub (huge) in the master bath. Lance is easy to communicate with and quick to respond to requests. Comments about the owner being on the property are no longer valid. We had our privacy. Also, the white fluffy towels have been added. Very nice stay. The property is in a very safe neighborhood and also close to stores for groceries. Great Thai restaurant and homemade ice cream just down the street. We would definitely stay there again!

Felt like home.

We were in LA for a wedding over the weekend and this house was perfect for us. It was close to the venue and convenient to tons of Torrance and Hermosa Beach locations. The house was comfortable and relaxed. It is the owners home, so there were personal items in the house, but there was plenty of dedicated space for our items in the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Communication with the owner was easy and responsive.

Perfect layout for family visit!

Lance made Christmas possible for us this year by allowing family to stay nearby after our mother passed and we no longer had her house to visit in. He was very attentive gave excellent instructions. The house had plenty of room for a nice dinner and he even had a Christmas tree, which was awesome! will definitely book again when we have friends in town. Other reviews said the house appeared “ lived in “ but it was not over the top. We personally didn’t mind it at all. location is close to action but also neighborhood for hilly walks which were enjoyed.

Redondo Beach "Cottage"

At first glance, the place very charming and quaint; but with further "inspection" this house needs a DEEP DEEP CLEAN. Because it is the residence of the owners, personal effects were all over, but it was uncomfortable to see clothes in the closets that we were sharing. They should set aside personal effects and clothes in locked closets. Owner popped in one time which was also uncomfortable. At other VRBOs, it's been my experience that guest towels looked new and clean (akin to hotel white towels). Towels here were worn and faded; should have been pure white and fluffy. The feeling the three adults in the group thought was this rental was just an afterthought, as if the owners had a whim to rent their home with no real planning. Professional cleaners should come to do a THOROUGH cleaning, towels should be new, carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced if they continue to rent this place. On a positive note: trampoline in the back which the two kids loved and good location to drive to the beach. That said, we would NOT rent this place agin.
