Great location in Hollywood Riviera/Redondo! Quiet property. Very walkable to many restaurants and a variety of shopping. The host was very prompt and gracious in his communications before and during our stay. Bonus was the sweet springer spaniels that came to visit every morning while we made breakfast and had the back doors open to enjoy the sea breeze. Would absolutely stay here again!

Very cozy beach cottage in a great location. It’s a pet friendly place, so bring the pups. Our host Lance was helpful and communicative.

We had a fantastic vacation staying at Lance's home! The house itself was excellent with all listed amenities. Lance was a fabulous host! We had no trouble communicating with him during our stay. The location was fabulous! It was easy to get around to all local attractions. We would love to stay for another long weekend in the future!

Lance's home was the perfect vacation spot for my family and I! We have two young kids and they had a great time enjoying the home as well as the gated yard. It was an amazing location close to everything we needed. Lance was so kind to leave us a bottle of wine and he was very responsive to all our questions. We would definitely stay there again when we visit!

This was a great place and location to stay for my elderly mother, an infant, my dog, and 2 other family members. It felt like a family retreat and the home is so welcoming and cozy. The location is perfect with lots of restaurants, close to beach, and palos verdes trees!Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Gathering Spot of Everyone.

Was a perfect place for our family to gather. Comfortable spaces inside and out. Great location- close to the beach and Riviera Village (shopping and food). Host was gracious and great to coordinate with. Our family would definitely stay there again.

Great beach city getaway

We used this house to accommodate a stay with extended family for a wedding. It worked out just great. Lance was easy to contact and our stay was enjoyable.

Beautiful, comfortable and convenient

This place is lovely from the outside and cozy on the inside. Just a walk from the Hollywood Riviera where Starbuck’s, Trader Joe’s and restaurants are available. The beach is just a little bit farther. Wonderful to stay at a place so close to my childhood stomping grounds.

Lovely Home - Perfect Setting

The house is near the beach and all conveniences yet feels quiet and peaceful. Lance was wonderfully helpful and accommodating. We felt very welcomed into his home and enjoyed our stay.

Great location, walkable to everything

Cute house with a great location. Was warm and stuffy when I arrived, but opened the windows and ran the fans to get comfortable. Great kitchen and outdoor space. House had everything I needed and a quick walk to Redondo.

My family and I couldn't have dreamed up a more lovely place to stay for our vacation. The kitchen, all of the bedrooms, dining area and front garden, are just stunning. Lance is quite the accommodating host and communicating with him was effortless. I would book this home again in an instant. I could not be more happy or satisfied with our experience at The Chateau.

quaint home away from home

cozy little home just off PCH with lots of charm. beds are comfortable, master bath tub is nice. perfect for exploring around redondo or just hanging out. it is owner occupied so there are personal items from the owner in the home.

Unfortunately this house was tired. Everything from the furniture to the smelly old carpets. It smelled of cat urine and even the towels provided had long seen better days.

Oh my goodness I guess admonishing a guest for letting their pets jump all over the furniture has its consequences. The house is cleaned thoroughly after each guest stay and the carpets cleaned every second month. We have recently replaced several of the couch cushions also. The guest towels are high quality absorbent towels, some are new and some are older and are washed in hot water and peroxide after each guest stay. Several guests have pets and we also have two Shark air purifiers which work well to freshen up the house and remove any pet odors.
