We loved the cabin when we stayed here a few years ago, and we were excited to return! The cabin was the perfect spot… far enough away from town to hopefully see the northern lights, but close enough for day trips to surrounding areas.
Pictures were taken for the front yard of the property towards the road.

It was a great stay. Everything worked, the kitchen was well stocked, there was plenty of towels, the beds were very comfortable. Also, the access and parking was easy with plenty of room and the Aurora viewing was great. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful Alaskan Cabin.

We loved the cabin. It was decorated so lovely, was very clean and organized and in the perfect secluded spot for our Alaska getaway. Would def stay here again.

The hosts were extremely helpful, super responsive and offered some fun suggestions for our winter holiday trip - they even put up a Christmas tree for our winter holiday visit!!

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The location was great for aurora viewing and all the outdoor activities we had planned. The host was always responsive and very accommodating with our checkout time, for which we are very grateful. The cabin was well stocked with games, movies, pots and pans, towels, laundry items and paper goods. They even supplied the coffee! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Russell and Monique for allowing us to stay in your lovely cabin.

We had a wonderful time at red bear den. The back yard is absolutely perfect for Aurora viewing! The host was very responsive to any queries, and the full size fridge and laundry were added bonuses. Highly recommend!

As our 1st VRBO stay it was outstanding! The Smiths thoughtful provide everything you will need and cabin is great. Everyone agreed we would eagerly stay here again.
Ice Museum was wonderful.
Didn't see any live ones tho.

Wonderful stay!

Wonderful hosts and place! Peaceful property that had everything our group needed for over a week stay! Beautiful drive to the Vrbo from Fairbanks!

Great stay and Aurora viewing!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Great place to see the Aurora! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Wonderful host and prompt to answer questions. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of the cabin is great, and the cabin is gorgeous, the yard is well maintained and beautiful. I appreciate that the host is very generous to offer from linens, kitchen, to family entertainment. We definitely want to come back again, hopefully this winter

Best homestay in Alaska

Highly recommend this homestay! The host is super helpful, and the home has all the amenities as mentioned. Loved our stay here. Very easy to catch the lights from this place.

The cabin was awesome!! It was secluded and quiet, but still close to coffee. We enjoyed relaxing and having direct tv accessible. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were great! We had the perfect place to park, right outside the door. The extra large back yard was the perfect place to watch the skies for the auroras.

Excellent rental

The cabin was roomy, well equipped and extremely clean. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We loved the remote location and well maintained outdoor areas. We would definitely stay here again.
