What a fantastic stay, we’d highly recommend. Owner greeted us upon arrival & gave us all the information we needed for a smooth & relaxing stay. Lovely added touches by the host which was much appreciated. Great location, with local pub options and close proximity to places of interest around the Cotswolds. Everything we needed was provided at the house, we hope to return for another stay.

This place was absolutely incredible! In fact, we loved it so much that we never left the house from the moment we checked in until we checked out. There were so many thoughtful provisions waiting for us when we arrived, and the kitchen was wonderfully stocked. But let me tell you about the best part—the linen bedding! It was unbelievably comfortable. We spent most of our stay curled up in bed, recovering from our travels before heading back to London and then home to the USA.It was exactly the peaceful, comfortable retreat we needed. We would absolutely book this place again if we find ourselves back in the area!

The property is excellent with a fabulous host! The property is very clean and easy to find. In a good area of the Cotswolds close to Painswick village and access routes to the motorway and Stroud Breakfast, tea coffee etc provided. Toiletries available. Good communication with host. Would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

Weekend in Painswick

Immaculate in all rooms. Great decor throughout. Lovely breakfast welcome hamper. Great location for exploring the cotswolds.

Superb stay

Me and some old friends decided to meet up down in the Cotswolds couldn't have asked for a better place, great communication from hosts, amazing location and very comfortable and clean place. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay

A wonderful stay in Painswick. The house was just as advertised, so clean and in a brilliant location. The house was stocked with everything you would need and even included some lovely extra touches on arrival such as fresh pastries and juices. We will definitely be returning when we visit the area again.

Central and convenient

This is a great spot for walking, as well as day trips throughout the Cotswolds. The village is very attractive with many choices for eating out and a quick walk from the house. A nice private patio for eating outside in the back.

Perfect

The village is absolutely gorgeous and the house is extremely clean and well stocked. There are many lovely touches, like logs for the fire, bread, butter, yogurt, cereals etc! I would definitely recommend this place for a long or short visit!

Really great stay

We had a really lovely stay on this property. The house itself is fantastically well stocked, Sean really makes sure you have everything you need when first arriving (and more). All the rooms are really well done and welcoming, there was nothing to fault. The location is also great as it gives great access everywhere else without being way too busy like so many other places in the Cotswolds.We had an amazing stay and I'd definitely recommend the house, plus Sean as a host

Perfect cottage for small family

We loved staying in Painswick and the cottage was perfect. It was a great location…a short walk into the village and easy access to all the public footpaths in the area. Our hosts were so kind. They made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience. Hope we can come back again some day!

Nice and cosy

We had a lovely stay. The property is immaculate, modern and cosy. It’s walking distance to Painswick town centre and the Rococo Garden. Sean was there to welcome us and very helpful. They also provided breakfast for the stay, which was a bonus. Definitely recommend the place!

A Great House

We had a lovely weekend staying in this lovely cosy house. The host communication and warm welcome was appreciated. The house was spotless with everything we needed for our stay. The log burner was an absolute bonus providing us with plenty of warmth. We will certainly be back again.
