especially considering the location in one of
the most coveted neighborhoods in the Bay
Area, or really, anywhere. Meticulously
clean, tasteful interior spaces, and tranquil
outdoor spaces that encourage relaxation
(the hammock was a big plus). Parking is a
snap right next to the entry. Extremely safe
location near the upscale restaurants and
shops of downtown Los Altos. Great vibe
and super communication with the owners.

This rental was extremely quiet and well located for us. The kitchen is well equipped and inviting. We enjoyed eating at the outside table when the weather was good. We would have liked a more inviting place to eat inside and we recommend a sleeping mask for morning light.

We had a lovely 5-night stay here while my son attended a camp at Stanford, which is only 15 min away. The property is beautiful and quiet, at the end of a cul de sac. 2 very nice bedrooms, 1 bathroom with a tub/shower, kitchen with most amenities, washer/dryer, and a small living room where you can eat, or eat outside. Host was very responsive to initial issue with hot water and bathtub, which was quickly resolved. Los Altos is a lovely, walkable town (8 min drive). No formal dining area and a small TV with working Roku, which was fine for us. Highly recommend for quality of property and location. We would stay here again. Thank you.

Joanne and Mike's place is a beautiful place with high ceilings and beautiful molding. It's also very convenient to Stanford. We enjoyed the patios and gardens in a quiet neighborhood, and the pleasant weather. We also enjoyed the rosemary hedges. Such a nice aroma! The kitchen was fairly well equipped. I would have appreciated some containers for leftovers and a step stool for getting things off the higher shelves. The bathtub is a deep tub which we appreciated, but some might not like it as it's a little harder to get into. But they do have a handle that makes it easier to get into and I have a bad leg. Mike and Joanne are very responsive to any needs. We hope to return if we're in the area again.

Wonderful place so close to Stanford

We had a great week staying at Joanna and Mikes place. Very comfortable and close to Los Altos Hills neighborhood which is great for shopping and dining.

What stands out for us with this property was the beauty of the location and apartment unit, as well as the quiet neighborhood. Our host directed us to a wonderful walk just outside the door with beautiful views of the Bay Area. The unit is well cared for and very clean. Staying here made our trip to Palo Alto special.

We had a ten star experience with our rental, and our hosts were very helpful and friendly - they helped make our stay perfect. The home is even better than described, everything went well. This was our second visit to this site and we hope to return again. Laundry, rooms, kitchen, cleanliness, parking, neighborhood...all great. Thanks to our hosts!

It’s a very good place. My only complaints were the shower which badly needs a new and better head and some of the outdoor furniture was covered up. With great weather and our family coming in I didn’t understand why.

We had a really nice six night stay. The guest house was very nice. Great location and beautiful setting. The beds were quite comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen except for breakfast but it seemed to have everything that would be needed. Nice parking area right by the front door. Joann was easy to communicate with. We recommend this property.

Cute place

Quick and easy drive to Stanford hospital. Great place to recover as the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Nice walking trails in area.

Peaceful, beautiful, tranquil guest home

Joanna is a gracious host. We were here for a month and felt so at peace . The guest home is lovely and we felt right at home. Easy access to restaurants and stores. A very special place!

Great, short stay!

We loved the quiety neighborhood setting of this property. Just the right size for the two of us. Beds were comfy (as well as cute!) We were easily able to connect to wifi and roku tv. Thanks for having us!

Nice property close to Stanford

The guest house was clean and quiet. The communication for check in and out was easy. Coffee and tea were provided.The washing machine was not working.
