Cozy and charming 2 bedroom historic cream city brick workers cottage built in 1881. A certified Century Building by the Racine Historical Society with original Italianate windows, central air, WiFi and a full kitchen. Two blocks to the beach and 20 minute lakefront walk into downtown for coffee, restaurants and shopping. Pets allowed. Fully fenced in yard. Enjoy coffee and Racine’s famous Danish Kringle on the front porch. A walk along one of America’s great lakes is a must see.

Cute little cottage, 2 blocks from the Lake. It was very clean and well-stocked with condiments, spices, shampoo, soap, etc. The fenced-in yard was great for our furry friend. The fenced-in yard is for the front and side yard (which has its own outside sitting area); there is no "back yard". This was fine with us, but I thought there was a backyard based on the pictures, so letting folks know.

Small, clean and comfortable cottage in a decent neighborhood. Vintage and charming decor. Well stocked with everything you'd need. The owner was very responsive. My only comments that on what could be viewed as negatives are: The beds and bedrooms are small. I think the beds are doubles or small size queens. I slept OK, but others may find the mattress too firm. And to be aware there is no off street parking. Your parking is on the street, on even / odd days. Something to be aware of.

Beautiful home. Lots of space. The interior of the house is granny style. All is very nice arranged. We had a wonderful stay. Our stay was confirmed and paid for several weeks. Suddenly our stay was denined. Double booking. After being informed thru the host, the mixup was corrected quickly.

Sorry about the double booking. I’d hired a new cohost and she implemented new software which created the glitch. I knew you had booked well in advance and were coming to see Frank Loyd Wright architecture. So I had the situation corrected immediately. Sorry about the scare.

Home built in 1881! Impressed with updates but maintained old world charm. Comfy, cozy, everything we needed.The lake was beautiful and beach is clean, easy access. There is a zoo that we wish we had time to visit, so close you could walk to it. Lots of quaint placs to grab a meal. The fenced in yard a huge bonus for the fur baby.Being downtown, we expected street noise. Nope, inside it was quiet and comfy beds made for sleepy dreams of rolling lake waves lapping at the shore, seagulls, swallows and more.Host is awesome. Highly recommended! Perfect for 2 or family of 4.

It was nice and cozy place to stay at. I wish I would of read the comment cause the beds are literally hard as a rock had back pain the next day we preferred sleeping on the floor cause of wouldn’t come back again calm area as well but overall it was alright I guess

We enjoyed our time at the little cottage. The area was quiet, and just a short drive to Milwaukee. The location is perfect, a couple blocks from a nice (and not crowded) beach. The house has comfortable firm beds and the A/C works great.

We booked this property previously and sought it out for our return visit to Racine. After driving 500 miles, it was like arriving home. The property is clean and comfortable. There is ample on-street parking close to the house. Communication is exceptional; Andrea Scott is very quick to answer questions. When we had a problem with the door code, she responded almost immediately, even though it was late when we messaged her. She resolved the problem quickly. We would seek out this property for a return visit.

Cute house with everything we needed!

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The owner gave us suggestions for Wells Brother’s Pizza and it was amazing. Location is close to the zoo and beach so that was nice. Thank you for a great stay!

Very clean and great location to walk to North Beach which is what we were looking for. Beds were comfortable and kitchen and bathroom provided everything we needed. This is an old neighborhood but everything was fine.

We had a great family trip and stay. The Vrbo was just few minutes walk from the beach. Check in and out was fast and easy. The property was clean and had the amenities we needed. Our kids were wanting to stay longer they had so much fun. Thank you for an enjoyable place to rest our heads after having fun in the sun. We hope to be back next year!

I loved the way the house was made. The fence was a plus. It was very clean, everything worked as it should. Andrea was very responsive. Located in a very convenient spot. I would definitely recommend.

The house was perfect for our needs! Just close enough to Kenosha that we could drive back and forth for all of our son’s homecoming festivities at Carthage. Will definitely stay again!

A warm and wonderful stay in Racine

We couldn’t have asked for a better location to enjoy a weekend in Racine. A quick 3 minute walk to the beach, easy parking, an inviting and cozy house to spend our lazy mornings and evenings in. We hope to come again!

I love this location 5 minutes from a lakefront run, pet walk or to watch the sunrise over one of America’s Great Lakes. We have beautiful beaches in the summer, 5 minute walk to the zoo and huge children’s beachfront playground. Beautiful contemplative fall walks along the lake. 20 minute walk from downtown coffee, shopping and restaurants. Don’t forget to see our lovely marina.
