Isolated traditional sheepfold with pool overlooking the countryside. Sea at 500

Our "Cuile" (sheepfold-farm) is a holiday house of 80 m2 located in the extreme northwest of Sardinia. Built in the late 18th century and completely renovated in October 2015, it can accommodate up to 12 people without compromising the vital space of each one. This house is ideal for lovers of green tourism.
The interior is divided by a semi-open space plan with the central common area (living room-dining room and kitchen).
In the northern and southern parts are situated the bedrooms topped with two mezzanines.
To the southpart contains two bedrooms, one of which have a staircase that leads to the south mezzanine.
In the north, another bedroom contains also a second staircase bringing to the north mezzanine.
A lounge room is situate under this last mezzanine and it can be chane one more bedroom (sofa bed 1.70m) isolated by a closed-screen.
 All bedrooms and mezzanines can accommodate two people (double bed or twin beds).
The two bathrooms are located on each side of the kitchen.
Outside you'll have pleasantly shaded veranda sheltered of the prevailing wind.
Laundry (washing and ironing) is available in the "pinnetta" (traditional round hut with a roof of branches).
A aboveground pool of 7,30m x 3,75m (deepness1,20m) is available
The Cuile overlooks the 3ha fenced plot of the property and the whole nature of the surroundings. The area is quiet and safe.

The cliff is far 200m. A steep path leads to the rocky shoreline of the sea (fishing rods in the "pinnetta").
Animals of the garrigue, sheep, cows, will be your only neighbors.
The many trails are available for hiking or cycling! It is the ideal place for fishing enthusiasts, diving, snorkeling, hiking on foot or by bicycle ...
Your Pets are welcome.
The Cuile is located 4.5 km from Pozzo San Nicola; at 2,5km, an unpaved motorable country road of 2 km brings to the "sheepfold".

This should’ve been advertised as glamping, not a home. With so many broken screens, we had to leave windows and doors open to get a breeze since there was no air-conditioning. But that let field mice run rampant through the house. There should be a fan in every room, the heat was horrible. They should advertise that the water is not potable and we need to bring in our own water. It rained and knocked out the power so for a long time we had no running water and no toilet toilets. We could not use toilet paper in the toilet, and that was a big hassle. We had to walk a mile half mile through a huge puddle to get to a breaker box to get the power back on The puddle was about 8 inches deep so it was very difficult to get to. The hut that has the washing machine had obvious signs of rat infestation, there was rat poop everywhere.Overall, we are rather disappointed. But, if you had advertised as an outdoor glamping experience, you would set expectations more clearly.

Sehr nette Vermieterin. Fast alle Mängel die wir mitteilten wurden so schnell wie möglich behoben (wie das Aufstellen von Mausefallen, Erneuerung Duschkopf, neue Liegen am Pool).Manche Dinge könnten mal wieder eine kleine Auffrischung (Fliegengitter, Spülmaschine, Kühlschrank, Toilettendeckel, Ventilatoren) gebrauchen.Die Küchenausstattung war gut und ausreichend und Informationsmaterialien für Ausflüge waren auch viel vorhanden.Vielleicht sollte man die Mieter besser darauf hinweisen, dass der Weg zur Unterkunft teilweise sehr mit Büschen und Sträuchern zugewachsen ist und wenn man mit einem größeren Auto lang fährt mit einigen Kratzern zu rechnen hat.Weiterhin könnte man in der Beschreibung darauf hinweisen, dass der Zugang zum mehr Meer nicht zum Baden geeignet ist und der Weg dorthin sehr steil und teilweise mit größeren Regenrillen und uneben durchzogen ist. Da das Haus sich in freier Natur befindet sollte man sich auf einige Mitbewohner (Mäuse, Geckos und Eidechsen) einstellen. Wenn man die Ruhe sucht ist man hier an der richtigen Stelle. Der Ausblick und die Sonnenauf- und Untergänge sind toll.

Das haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Liegt herrlich alleine und in toller Landschaft. Für ruhesuchende und naturliebhaber. Wir hatten sehr viele Fliegen. Was aber vermutlich an der Witterung dieses jahr lag

Einsames Ferienhaus in Küstennähe

Wir hatten 10 wunderschöne Tage im Nordwesten Sardinien s. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, da zwei Schlafebenen quasi offen sind. Aber alles da, was man zum Kochen und wohlfühlen braucht. Leider ist die Pumpe öfters ausgefallen, was aber durch einen Reset an der Pumpe behoben werden konnte.... Dafür hatten wir angenehmen Kontakt mit der Vermieterin und sogar die Möglichkeit, ihr eigenes Olivenöl zu kaufen. Perfekt. Der Weg zum Meer runter ist doch etwas weiter und bei Wellen ein Baden unmöglich. Dafür war ein Pool vorhanden und Anfang Oktober noch nutzbar. Der nächste Strand bzw. Zugang zum Meer ist dann 3,5 km entfernt, was auch OK ist. Die 2km Zufahrt von der Straße zum Haus ist ein enger Schotterweg, die Sträucher haben doch einige Kratzer am Auto hinterlassen. Dafür himmlische Ruhe, da kein Nachbar weit und breit.... In Summe tolle Scheune, wir haben es genossen

Un vero paradiso

Abbiamo trascorso un meraviglioso soggiorno presso il Cuile. Il luogo, appartato e immerso nella natura, ci ha permesso di vivere giorni rilassanti. La casa è meravigliosa, arredata con gusto e ben fornita di ogni comodità! Valeria è un host molto gentile e disponibile, la ringraziamo di cuore per aver messo a disposizione questo angolo di paradiso.

Tolles Ferienhaus in fantastischer Lage! Bei extremen Wind gab es allerdings kurzfristige Probleme mit Strom und/oder Warmwasser. Wir waren trotzdem sehr zu frieden.

Dépaysement total en pleine nature

Très bien placé pour ceux qui aiment la tranquillité, isolé en plein milieu de la nature et proche des falaises (avec un accès à la mer (pas de sable mais roche) par des chemins avec fort dénivelé). Maison bien aménagée, décorée avec goût, chaque ouverture est munie de moustiquaire (mais endommagée). Mezzanine plus prévue pour enfants (hauteur plafond) Piscine très agréable à l'extérieure. A noter la présence d'un chat ("chat du coin") durant notre séjour (qui reste à l'extérieur). Logement à recommander.

La casa è in una posizione splendida, con una vista incantevole, senza alcun rumore.

La casa è molto grande con molti letti, l'esterno ampio con una piccola piscina sicuramente utile nel periodo estivo, nelle vicinanze ci sono delle piccole spiagge molto molto belle.

ruhig in schöner Umgebung

Wer eine Ferienwohnung in absolut ruhiger Umgebung sucht ist hier richtig! Rund um das Haus nur Natur und das Meer mit einer schönen Schnorchelbucht ist auch nicht weit weg. Schönes geräumiges Haus mit Pool. 3 Zimmer mit je 2 Betten + 2 zusätzliche Doppelbetten auf der Empore. Zur Not kann auch noch das Sofe im WOhnzimmer zu einem Bett umfunktioniert werden. Das Haus ist ideal für 5 bis max 8 Personen aus meiner Sicht. Nette Vermieterin, die immer erreichtbar war. War ein schöner Urlaub

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce gite, en pleine nature mais qui permet de rayonner vers pas mal de sites à moins d'une heure de route (alghero, grotte de Neptune, ile d'asinara...). La mer est accessible en 5 min à pied (rochers) et une plage à 5 min en voiture. Le gîte est très bien aménagé, fonctionnel, décoration moderne. Une grande piscine installée cette annee ! Seul bémol peut être : pas d'eau potable au gîte.

il ciule was great

we really liked il cuile. we were the group of 8 adults + 1 baby and the house was perfectly comfortable for us. 2 bathrooms are great as there were no queues, kitchen is small but we have managed it, surrounding is beautiful - cows, cats, birds, amazing sunsets. the only disadvantage was that there is not a potable water but this is the problem of the big part of sardinia. we just did not know it. we were perfectly satisfied, we strongly recommend this accommodation, we enjoyed our stay there.

Très jolies maison dans un endroit superbe

Une très jolie semaine en famille (2 parents, 5 enfants) dans cette très agréable maison. La localisation est très bonne dans un calme complet et avec un paysage magnifique de campagne et de mer. La mer est à 5 minutes à pieds avec une série de criques parfaites pour tous les ages (baignade, pêche, palme et tuba). Une plage est accessible à 5 minutes en voiture. Magnifiques ballades à faire dans le maquis au départ de la maison avec arrivée garantie sur la mer. Pour des excursions plus lointaines et les activités touristiques Stintino avec ces plages équipées et ses activités balnéaires est à 20 minutres en voiture, Castel Sardo, Alghero, Argenteria, Sassari entre 45 minutes et 90 minutes de route. La maison est très bien agencées avec trois chambres indépendantes et deux mezzanines accessibles depuis deux des chambres. Parfait pour 6 à 10 personnes. Deux salles de bain avec douche. Cuisine bien équipée. Grande terrasse ombragée avec une immense table en bois. Décoration simple et agréable. Petit village avec tous les magasins nécessaires à 7 ou 8 minutes en voiture. Porto Torres avec les supermarchés et plus de magasins à 25 minutes. Valeria nous assuré un accueil très agréable. Une location à recommander pour passer un grand moment au calme et dans la nature.

Perfect place, beautiful and peaceful

Our group, 7 adult people used the home very comfortable. All inside is new and made with taste. Complete equipment makes holiday at Valeria's home perfect ! You can grill, you can cook, there is all what you will need during your stay. And the home itself - beautiful ! we loved it. Maybe on the pictures it look as a small, but inside really it can handle ~10-12 people. Due to location away from the main road, car strongly recommended. But then it is a huge advantage. Quiet, peaceful, hmmm morning coffee watching the sea and hills around..... Contact with Valeria and her husband - perfect, both speak English and Italian of course. Always helpful. Always available. Good point to visit all surroundings - lovely beaches in the north of the island, Stintino, Grotta di Nettuno, Alghero, Sassari, Bosa, all those places are just 1-2 hours away. Good connection to the airport in Alghero and Olbia. Rent it and enjoy :) Lukasz and friends.

Tranquillité et sérénité

La maison est telle que sur les photos, elle a beaucoup de charme et est très bien agencée. Nous avons pu y séjourner très agréablement à 12. Valéria et son mari se sont montrés accueillants, serviables et très disponibles. La mer est à quelques mètres, de belles plages aux environs.. De très bonnes vacances donc :)

We find, by chance, that old Cuile to "ruin" (1780) for sale. Situated in a unique location, surrounded by the Mediterranean scrub .. and we thought make it live again !!!!
