This VRBO was one of the best locations and well done places that my family has ever stayed at. The apartment is very spacious, clean and right in the middle of Avignon City Center. You couldn’t ask for a better location for exploring the city. The apartment has everything you would need from a full kitchen, a large bath and shower and 2 large bedrooms. Perfect for a family with room to spare. Outside of the language barrier David was responsive and helpful. Otherwise, I highly recommend this for anyone looking to visit and explore Avignon or souther France.

David is a gracious host and we were grateful for his most helpful flexibility with our check in and departure times. He responds quickly to any inquiries and was also helpful with restaurant suggestions. The apartment is quiet, clean, spacious and nicely decorated, and with a good sized, well stocked kitchen. The beds are comfortable with nice sheets. It's perfectly located within minutes from the amazing Halle market, pharmacy, bakery, and grocery store. All the Avignon sites are only a 10-15 minute walk away. It's one of the best rentals that we have stayed in and we would highly recommend both David and his apartment.

A beautiful apartment with plenty of room to relax. The kitchen was well stocked with excellent appliances and extras. Very clean and welcoming. The location was exactly what we wanted. Easy to walk to everything. Several restaurants and bars nearby.

Really great apartment in city center. Highly recommend. Parking was a little tricky, especially if you are from the U.S. The parking was across the street in a parking garage and the spaces were very tight

The apartment was a step above the usual rental. It was spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. The artwork was fun. David was easy to communicate with. Great stay!

Loved the location and easy access to areas in Avignon. Has enough space for two couples or small family with more space than looks in pictures. The kitchen is large for an apt and had everything you would need. We were there during high heat of July but apt has both AC and small fans so we were comfortable, even as Americans used to having AC. Building was very secure. Nice lady from where you pick up the keys took us all the way up to make sure we knew how to get in.There is a very good bakery next door and it’s right across from Les Halles that was fun to food shop. All major attractions and many good restaurants were all walking distance. Note as Americans that French rentals do not supply shampoo or conditioner so bring with. There was a prior comment about restaurant/bar below. All Avignon restaurants are primarily outdoor seating in summer as is the one just below the apt. There was an outdoor band that could be heard but they stopped by 10:30 on Fri/Sat nights so we did not find it an issue at all. We are 60 something adults as reference.

Great updated apartment in central location

Had a great stay in Avignon. David was a great host and made sure to message us with all the necessary information we needed for our stay. The updated apartment is clean, nicely decorated, well air conditioned and in a great central location. Would stay here again for sure!

A spacious apartment with great amenities in a convenient location next to Les Halles and within walking distance to dining and shopping venues. The unit was pristine. Great layout, with the nice sized bedrooms in a quiet section. There was construction in the building next door, but the work started late (9:30ish in the morning) and wrapped up before we returned at 5 pm, so we were not bothered by it. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying at David’s place

Great location/ Les Halles

Location perfect for seeing Avignon. It is literally across the street from Les Halles market. The property is very clean and tastefully decorated. Kitchen is epuipped to cook and dine in if desired. Host David is very responsive and hospitable.

Spectacular apartment in the centre of the old town

We were there during the festival and the atmosphere and energy in the town was amazing. Can’t fault the unit, many items were left for us to use, I.e. coffee and utensils and with the market just 30 meters away made life very easy (thank you David). Weather was extremely hot but air conditioning and double glazing handled it very well. Would definitely book again!!

Great stay

David was very responsive and attentive before, during, and after our stay. The location is great- right in the heart of the city and very accessible to local and tourist sites. Updated design made our stay comfortable. The only thing to note is that parking is not included, but there is a garage right across the street in the market.

This is a gorgeous apartment in Avignon - they have paid attention to every aesthetic detail! The location is also fantastic. Les Halles is just across the street and it is central enough that you can walk to many of the major attractions. There were a few small things that could be improved for the future. The A/C set up isn't really strong enough to cool the whole apartment on the very hot days that we were there for - we chose two rooms to cool down and tried to spend most of our time in those rooms. (We were there for 100F days!) We found the tall counter/ tall chairs for dining a bit uncomfortable for us - but that's because we have kids who had a hard time maneuvering themselves in the tall chairs. We had some difficulty with the check-in process. We were driving through Luberon villages on the way to Avignon, and the host needed us to specify an exact time where we would be arriving at the apartment for a key hand-off, and this was hard to do on a day when we were meandering at our own pace. We ended up being late and coudn't give the host the information about our shifting schedule because of poor cell signal in the Luberon Villages. I felt bad about being late. I think it would probably be better in the future to be able to choose a time range for arrival, rather than an exact time. Overall, this was a great home base for us and our host was very responsive to anything we raised.

Our favorite VRBO ever!

This property was way beyond our expectations. It felt like being in a house, it was so big. The 12 foot ceilings and windows made the place so bright. The place being on the corner gave us such a wonderful view of the square. We were so close to everything. Loved Les Halles tight across the street. It was well stocked and clean. We would highly recommend.
