    Nice Quiet Stay

    It's a nice little cottage and host/property manager were quite nice as well. We were there 5 days, and enjoyed our stay there a lot. It's a bit far from the sights and from a grocery store (minimum 30 min. drive, IIRC) so plan for that. Also, no wi-fi that we were able to figure out (we just watched stuff we had already downloaded, using an HDMI cable), but there was a television and laundry facilities, so that was great.

    Irish getaway

    This house was a great place to relax after a day's adventure. We really appreciated the host leaving out brochures to the many different things to do and see in the area. The host were very nice and helped us when we got lost when arriving. The house can be tricky to find and you definitely need a car when visiting the area. Nonetheless we had everything we needed in the house and we enjoyed our time there. Thank you for having us!

    Loved that we were out in the country, plenty of space in the rooms etc. what would have been helpful was info on electrical outlets, they need to be individually turned on! And some info on what is recycled would have helped. Overall the rustic experience was delightful!

    Wonderful home base

    If you’re looking for a place to disconnect this is the house for you. There is no WiFi so you won’t even be tempted by work. My husband and I used this house as a home base for nearly two weeks while we explored the country side and different cities. It was a nice place to come home to at night to have dinner and watch tv. The house has extra adapters if you bought the wrong one like we did. The town is small, but the people are great. Your only neighbors are cows so no worries about bothering or being bothered by other people. Truly an authentic country experience.

    Nice very quiet house

    Just cows around you. No direct neighbors. If you are told to drive to the end of the road, it is literally the end of a drivable path, not a road. Here it the location in Google: https://goo.gl/maps/1DhKVvvXfkDKBevZA If there was nobody in before you, you may want to let in a bit of fresh air. In case of any issues, Catherine's is very friendly and helpful, her number is +353 87 982 9734 The water fron the tap is good and fully drinkable. There are many electrival adaptors for continental plugs.

    Excellent holiday home

    Excellent holliday home, with everything in it you could need, including washing machine and dryer. The location is remote (owner lives about 500m down the road), your neighbours are the cows in the fields adjacent to the home. If travelling with younger children be sure to take something with you for their (or your own) entertaiment. For us this is the best home we had so far.

    Haus für Ruhesuchende

    Das Haus liegt 1,9 km zu Ballylanders und 400 m zum nächsten Nachbarn am Ende eines Schotterweges. Es war einmal eine kleine Farm, das Farmhaus wurde hergerichtet und die ehemaligen Wirtschaftsgebäude und Ställe sind verwaist. Im Haus gibt es eine Küche ( mit ausreichend Geschirr und Geräten), ein kleines Bad mit Dusche und WC, ein Esszimmer mit einem großen Tisch und zwei Sofas, 2 kleine Schlafzimmer mit je einem Doppelbett (140 /160 breit) und ein großes Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Einzelbett. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und bei Problemen wurde sofort Hilfe angeboten. Vor dem Haus kann man parken . Die Fotos werden dem Haus leider nicht gerecht, so fehlen Bilder von den kleinen Schlafzimmern und die Anderen sind nicht aussagekräftig. Wer die Ruhe liebt ist hier absolut richtig, hier ist es sehr einsam. Man kommt mit dem Auto aber schnell zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und in der Nachbarortschaft Michelstown gibt es sehr viele Supermärkte, wo man alles bekommt, was man benötigt. Eine Sitzgelegenheit im Freien wäre nett, denn es regnet ja nicht immer.

    Slugs

    It was a good stay except we had slugs in the bedrooms and bathroom about 2 inches long. The shower head needs to be cleaned so the water comes out better
