Facing the trees rather than anything busy is exactly why it feels so peaceful. And the pool and hot tub every night sounds like precisely the right way to end a day in the mountains. The personalized plan (my concierge-style of hosing) is the part of hosting I love most. As a Whistler local with 20 years exploring these mountains, I know which trails suit which kind of hiker and which views are worth the detour... so every plan I write is built around what that particular guest is actually interested in, never a canned list copied and pasted to everyone who books. That's right... our kitchen drawers are filled with thoughtful extras that WE would like to see provided when we book a vacation rental. That's why our kitchen includes high quality paring knives, chop knives, a knife sharpener, cutting boards (that are bleached regularly : ), scissors, measuring cups and spoons, bakeware, a crockpot, rice cooker.
