Discover the beauty of Bison Hollow's 1000 acre preservation
with a stay at this updated 3-bed, 3-bath cabin located just 6 miles South of Hocking Hills State Park. This vacation cabin, once owned by the beloved John Corby, allows you to decompress in complete privacy by providing easy access for serious hikers to old logging trails that lead to incredible hemlocks, majestic gorges and beautiful waterfalls just by walking out the door. Magnificent birding, frogs singing in the pond and wildlife viewing is available for those who want to unwind on the wraparound deck or relax in the 6-person hot tub. Grill dinner on the upper deck's master grill, roast marshmallows in the giant firepit stocked with wood or dine at the winery or state park attractions up the road. Wifi, DirecTV, 3 Smart TVs, games, puzzles, movies and air hockey is all available for the kids in case it rains.
This cabin offers all the amenities of home with a complete stocked kitchen, 4 separate seating areas on two ginormous decks, fully stocked laundry room with washer and dryer and three bedrooms each with its own full and private bath. Totally surrounded by trees and fields, you can stay all week with never seeing another human or jump in the car and shop, dine and hike the prepared tourist trails of Hocking Hills State Park just 6 miles away.

Everything was great. Really nice private cabin in the woods. Hot tub nice, beds comfortable and lots of extras like snacks and fire wood. We had a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Chubby Frog Cabin! There was a lot of wildlife which I loved!! It was a clean, well stocked cabin and it was really relaxing! We are already planning our next stay!!

The Chubby Frog was absolutely perfect! The location was private and surrounded by nature. Close to all the hiking trails. The cabin itself was well stocked with everything you need to feel at home plus more. Very clean, which we truly appreciate. Tons of room for everyone to be comfortable inside and outside. Loved to hot tub!! To anyone who has this cabin saved as an option, just do yourself a favor and book it. Thank me later!!

Chubby Frog Cabin was the very best rental ever. Everything was beyond what we could have ever imagined. The rental was well stocked…from candy to snacks to smore supplies to firewood and so much more. It was so incredibly organized and clean. The binder with endless information was so informative and helpful. The details and instructions were superb. The host was super responsive. The exterior property was well maintained. So many memories made. Thank you Chubby Frog Cabin.

We had an amazing stay! The cabin is lovely, in a private location, so peaceful:) there are many bird feeders on the property, affording up close sightings of finches, cardinals, etc. Excellent communication from our host, comfy beds and perhaps the best equipped rental we have ever had the pleasure of staying in.

One of the best places I have been to in several years of going to different places for a little mini vacation vacations. There was so much stuff there that we didn’t need to bring because it was already there. This would be a great place for a family and their children. I recommend it highly.

Staying here was easy and fun- we wanted a nice place to stay for a long weekend away and we really hit it out of the park with the Chubby Frog! The cabin is well-stocked and there were plenty of beds and bathrooms for our family of four. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing time at the cabin. The cabin was gorgeous - spacious, spotless and tons of amenities and goodies! Vicki and Steve are exceptional hosts and promptly answered any questions we had. It was a great place to enjoy a family getaway!

Best birdwatching I have experenced. I'm not even relly into it, but I could site inside the cabin and count 9-10 different species.

The cabin was beautiful! It was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Even the fire pit was ready all we had to do was light it. The cabin was clean and just as pictured. We will definitely stay here again!!

The Chubby Frog was perfect, very clean, just as pictured, well maintained property and cabin. We really appreciated all the hospitality, everything we needed was there. Host gave us great directions that were easy to follow to get to the property. We will definitely recommend The Chubby Frog and would stay there again. Hands down 5/5 stars!!!
