This house was perfect for our stay. Lots of space, well stocked kitchen and large backyard. It was super clean and so cute with so many beautiful touches. We enjoyed everything about the house and hosts were super communicative. We would definitely stay here again.

This home was a great home away from home and very roomy. Good and clean and free from clutter. Great features are large from yard and roomy back yard! Very Friendly, Kind and attentive owners! Loved it!

This is in a very nice place and is in a very good location. We will definitely rent here agin when we come back to this area. The host was very quick to get back with us on anything we needed answered. Very clean place and in a quiet area and was very relaxing.

This lake house was exactly what we were looking for. It was cute, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to everything we could have wanting in Guntersville. Kim and Roger were amazing hosts and were quick to respond to any needs that I had. If you are looking to catch up with family (like we were) or simply wanting a quiet get away, this is the perfect place for you!

The rental was excellent in every way. Comfortable, safe, clean and a really nice home away from home. Look forward to staying at this VRBO again. The hosts are fabulous!

Yes, was in touch every day. This house is across from Guntersville lake! Beautiful area, great for families! Close to everything. Were looking forward to booking this house again in the Spring!

This was a beautiful house that was very clean and felt like home from the first step in the door. The owners have thought of EVERYTHING that you might need. We had a great stay with every everything we could have needed and more. The check in/out was so easy and it was in a great location - close to everything but quiet and right across the street from the lake. Thanks for a great stay!

This property is very nice and so close to so many places to see and great food. The owners were awesome and very helpful. They also made sure all the info needed about the area is right at your hands.

Great location and amenties

Used this lovely home for family gathering of 5 senior citizens to play cards and eat. Just perfect. Went last year and plan to come back next year.

Sweet Retreat

Absolutely loved this home . We had everything we needed for a perfect week . House was very neat and clean, very close to several good boat ramps . The owner was very easy to get ahold of when I had any questions. Would definitely recommend this home . A+++

Enjoyable

The house was decorated very nice for Christmas. It made me feel at home. The house had everything we need for are stay. We had a question a about the washing machine and Kim was quick to answer.

Fritz was the best guest possible! Left the house very clean as we hardly knew they were there, very nice and easy to communicate with! Thoroughly enjoyed their visit and hope they will consider Sunset House in the future. Recommend to other VRBO hosts.

We have stayed at this house several times for fishing tournaments. It is absolutely perfect in every aspect. Room to park 3 vehicles with boats. Absolutely spotlessly clean and more than well stocked. Kim is the best host I have ever worked with. This house is in a great location within sight of a major boat launch and right across the street from the park and river walk and less than 2 miles from downtown shops. Our wives don’t even care that we are fishing all day. The price is cheaper per person than the Hampton in town. We never consider anyplace else.

Fantastic accommodations

This was an amazing home. Just across the street from Lake Guntersville and walking/biking path. We could watch people having fun on the lake. The house was immaculate. All necessary supplies provided. The host was very accommodating. We plan on returning soon.

Cooks Bass Tournament

Enjoyed every part of the stay. The only thing that could be an issue is turning a boat/trailer into the drive way. I had no issue but an inexperienced driver could.

Fishing tourn stay

Return trip to this property for a fishing tournament. Location is ideal. The house is even better than presented. Super clean and super stocked. Boat ramp within sight and the park is just steps away for the wives and kids. The owners have widened the drive since out stay last year which greatly aids boat entry/exit. Owners are fabulous and the entire process was seamless. Highly recommend

EVERYTHING !!!Kim and Roger...were Great from start to end!!! My wife and I were celebrating our Anniversary weekend, and out the gate we were Blown away with the warm welcoming we received. Truly heartfelt in so many ways Whatever you could think of or may have thought of was answered already. My family and I have stayed at many locations all over the states, but this stay exceed all expectations. The property was welcoming and flawless. The location is Perfect for R&R. We’ve rented Sunset House twice and look forward to our next visit. The upgraded furnishings and comfort is truly like home. While my husband fished for bass in beautiful Lake Guntersville, I explored Guntersville and Scottsboro. Rock House Restaurant, Cafe 336 in Guntersville and Unclaimed Baggage in Scottsboro were awesome places to visit. The owners of Sunset House are like good friends, even though we’ve never personally met. I hesitate to continue with a glowing review because we enjoy staying at Sunset House and hope our dates of travel to Guntersville will be available in the future.

Excellent experience

Stayed Oct 17-21 for a fishing tournament with my son. Great location. By far the cleanest and most well-stocked place we have ever stayed. Really only needed to buy food and nothing else. Plenty of room for boat parking. One thing to be aware of, the owners request you back your boat in the drive to avoid rutting up the yard. The drive is narrow but no problem for a skilled backer. The only issue is it’s a busy street and getting traffic to hold for you is a trick. Not a deal breaker at all. Just something to know. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect for a Family Vacation

I booked this for our family weekend, and became the hero. This house is so well done, spotlessly clean, and quality throughout. Beautiful bedroom furniture, good quality towels, etc., and stocked with everything you could possibly want. The huge back yard and grill made yard games so fun, and the setting was perfect as we had the walking trail across the street, lake view, and close access to downtown. Kim was warm and helpful, and made the overall experience our best rental experience. Would highly recommend this house.

“Highly Recommend!”

Clean, nice comfortable furniture and beds, and very well stocked. This home is centrally located, with a lake view and public park and beach very close by. We enjoyed the lake, caving, tubing the river, the space museum, and lots of really neat antique and thrift stores in all the near by towns. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!
