Great stay for two small families (with a dog). Bach had a lovely feel and the outdoor areas are great. It is close to nice walks and the town centre, and was super clean when we arrived. Would love to stay again!

The smoke alarms in the bedroom areas are mandatory by law, these have been tested and are in good working order. The dishwasher works, you just have to turn it on and move the selector, the smoke alarm in the lounge that is not mandatory, will be replaced before the next guests arrive, thank you for drawing this to my attention, very much appreciated.

Great place for a family to spread out

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable, and there was lots of room for our family to spread out. And as promised it was close to great fishing!

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation. The location was perfect — nice and quiet, yet close enough to easily walk to the shops and everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and the room setup worked really well for our mixed group of singles and couples. Everyone had their own space, and we all slept really well.The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made meal prep easy. It truly felt like a home away from home.We would happily stay here again — hopefully for a bit longer next time so I can make time to do the Tongariro River Walk! Highly recommended.

Thanks for setting out a great family holiday house, this classic bach gives a true sense of a kiwi holiday, with all the bells and whistles for the kids to keep entertained when the weather packs in.Everything was bang on, priced well, tidy and easy.Just add a few toys and you’re set for a great time at the lake.Thanks again

We loved our stay

The most comfiest sleep i’ve had in a very long time, the beds were my highlight the bach itself is perfect you have everything you need all under 1 roof. I would totally highly recommend to anyone visiting turangi :) Thank you we will definitely be back soon

fishing trip

great spot for a fishing trip to Turangi. Easy to get to and easy to access river from. wonderful fire place and heaps of wood.

Ticked the box nicely

We were spending the days with family in nearby Omori and only came back to the house to sleep so it met the need very well. Nice bathroom and showers and plenty of beds.

Comfortable stay

Had everything we needed. Location was good but lots of mosquitoes probably due to being near the river. Loved the water pressure in the shower.

Cosy, Comfy & Relaxing

This was an awesome base for our trout fishing trip. Central to all shops and close to all fishing pools. Loved our stay - will definitely book again. Thank You.

Quiet retreat with friends

Welcoming, clean with 4 bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen and comfy seating arrangements. Enjoyed being a little out of the town and the reserve across the road. Perfect for 4 friends meeting up for a weekend.

Perfect for family with dogs

This is the ideal stay if you have dogs, there is a park straight over the road, the garden is enclosed. The house and furniture are clean and tidy but not new, you feel like you can relax without having to police the dogs 24/7.
