Tastefully decorated apartment. Wake up to the sounds of the waves breaking on the shore. Take a long walk on the beach before breakfast. Chill out for the rest of the day or perhaps take a short 30 min drive to either Tauranga or Whakatane for that long lunch and some retail therapy. Tons to do or do nothing at all! That's the beauty of this place, and we invite you to experience our paradise from our self-contained apartment. Seaviews from lounge and bedroom. Excellent fishing beach. Shop and takeaways an easy 2 km walk. There is also a cafe and bar 400m walk (Montys)

Special conditions:
Smoking outside only. 2 nights minimum stay - 7 nights maximum stay (unless otherwise organised prior to stay). One queen bed in bedroom, with two double sofabeds in lounge (also one queen and one double foam mattress, but bedding not supplied for these) - suit 1 couple/2singles or 2 couples. Cleaning equipment/supplies provided. Playstation 1 on tv in bedroom.

Extras: Cleaning (Optional, NZ$50.00 extra per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (towels/ bath mat/sheets/tea towels).

What an amazing property. Perfect for our family of 4 that attended a wedding down the road. It has loads of room and the host had perfect communication throught the booking process. Will come back again if we are in the area.

Great spot

Overall a very great spot. Stairs to beach could be tricky to walk down, but just need to take it slowly. Communication was faultless with vendor. Would recommend and would stay again.

More amazing than the pictures

Wpuld highly reccomned this olace the pictures dont do justice to how beautiful it really is. Very very clean plenty of space great communication and a beautiful place couldnt reccomend it enough

The Pukehina batch was perfect, so comfortable and relaxing. It had everything you needed well laid out. We loved the bifold doors wide open with the view of the sea right there in front of you. The batch is stepped back slightly between buildings so is protected from the wind a little. The last night in bed upstairs was spent watching the amazing lightening show out at sea.

Family Stay

Great stay, the property was very clean when we arrived and very spacious. Near the end days of our stay the power began to trip - it was the oven that was tripping. No biggie, once that's fixed then everything else is fine

I checked the oven after you had left. It went for the full 30 mins that I set on the timer. Did you set the timer dial on the right to maximum time?

Great location on the beach & a short walk to the friendly bar/cafe down the road. Communication from Lynell was quick & accommodating & the welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch! The shower was great & upstairs bed was comfy. Overall a great stay & would recommend for those who love fishing, kaimoana gathering or just being outdoors. Suggestions for improvement: The TV has patchy reception, so perhaps some cards or board games for entertainment? The fan upstairs is not effective & needs replacing.

Best holiday in ages

The place was amazing! Easy to find and the Bach was perfect. Was nice and simple and well worth the stay. Caught up with the owners who were amazing people. Learnt something new about fishing too from the owners. This bach is well worth it and recommend 100%

Cosy Clean Converted Garage

Perfect spot for a relaxed stay at one of nz's best beaches. Owners were very accommodating and provided everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

100% Recommended

Absolutely stunning! Everything you want and need right at your doorstep. The location is superb, the bach itself has amazing views to the sea, and has Everything you need for cooking, cleaning and washing. Was a perfect little get away for me and the teenagers. Didn't have much luck with the fishing only catching a kahawai and a large amount of seaweed, however just being out there was the best part. Thank you Lynell for allowing us to get away from reality and staying in your beautiful home. Apologies again for the noisy teenagers.

Weekend away

Enjoyed our Weekend away..very peaceful and relaxing..great veiw of the beach..the Bach had everything we needed..very spacious well set up.. the loft bed was very comfortable..excellent communication from the host..very easy process..I will definitely recommend to Family and Friends.

A lovely Bach to stay, had almost everything thing necessary. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the upstairs bed. Otherwise a lovely Bach.

Just as lovely as my first stay. Nothing better than listening to the waves on the beach. Spectacular location. Very clean & tidy with everything you need
