The house was great, very tidy and well equipped. The views were absolutely spectacular. The only problem was the driveway and stairs were quite difficult to negotiate. The host is very honest about this when you book. Having said the we had an amazing trip to Queenstown and hope to come back.

The Lakehouse provide everything we needed for the week we were in Queenstown. Just wish we had found the slow cooker earlier in the week! Heads up to anyone coming in - there is a slow cooker in the cupboard. The team made everything so simple. Highlights: - waking up to the lake view every day - despite the clouds - getting photos of the Aurora Australis and lovely nighttime images from the balcony - the heating / fireplace being set up / turned on before we walked in so we opened the door to a wonderfully warm home.

The house was comfortable and in a great location. The beds were comfortable. The owners were very attentive and helpful. The outdoor umbrella was a little tired. Also something that was out of the control of the owners, was a sewer smell that lingered likely from one of the neighbors houses. Nevertheless we had a great time.

We loved the layout of the open plan living area and the views. The property is just the right distance from Queenstown to enjoy the area without being crowded but near enough to town to walk there. We will definitely be back!

Quirky but spectacular

This is a quirky property - built like a boat with bedrooms below and a balcony poking out over the lake like the bow of a ship. The views are spectacular and the property is very convenient to the city - just a short walk along the lake path.

We enjoyed the beautiful views from the balcony and interesting architecture of this house. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. Bathrooms also clean. The main bathroom has two entrances, one from a bedroom and one from the laundry which made privacy a bit challenging but we just locked one of the doors. Driveway was steep as we were warned but we managed ok in an SUV. 2WD hatchback was a bit more challenging but we coped. Overall a lovely stay
