The view was amazing and enjoyed watching the birds. The unit was very clean and spacious. We had to hire the linen and needed to make up our own beds for the stay. Overall we had a great stay.

Acacia Bay Lake View

Great location overlooking the lake. Easy access to the township. Lots of family fun things to do and enjoy. Nice weather but could be a little bit cold during the day and evenings.

Fantastic view!!!!

The location of the house is fantastic. You have a fantastic view of Lake Taupo and the neighboring mountains, we saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The house is functionally furnished for 4 adults with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The one bedroom next to the kitchen was very small and cramped. The kitchen is functionally equipped, there should be more dishes so that you only have to do the washing up once a day. The dishwasher is old and very loud, it cannot be turned on at night, you can hear it in the bedroom next door. The refrigerator, especially the freezer, were not cleaned thoroughly, so we gave everything a deep clean when we arrived. Overall we felt comfortable and the view makes up for a lot.

Very handy 2catch up with extended family living and staying in area. Spacious comfortable.

For price, disappointed no electric blankets, hair dryer, tissues. Spacious and comfortable. TINY TV, no coffee (probably oversight but not good enough) but lots of tea. Lovely view but sunny in morning only.

The property was in a great location.

The property was in a great location. It was very cosy. There is no oven so we couldn't cook fries or pizza. There is a good view of the lake.

The property has fabulous views, and is very spacious for four adults. We found the bed very uncomfortable, the shower pressure debateable, and a bench top oven would be a good asset.

We have stayed at this property 3 or 4 times, it is a shame the lovely view is starting to disappear with the plantings growing up, the mattresses are hard and need upgrading and the shower pressure is very low. Other than that, it is a lovely spot, clean and tidy, with all the modern conveniences and close to town.

Beautiful views, excellent location and a peaceful atmosphere. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay here. There was plenty of space for two couples and two children. The zones were divided up nicely so we felt like we had lots of privacy. The property is stylish and modern and the facilities were excellent.

Place was perfect, yes it was a house under a house, but made no difference as you did not notice any one above. May need some BBQ utensils though. Great spot, clean, open and magnificent views.
