Amazing property. Breathtaking views, well stocked kitchen, incredibly clean. Fabulous location close to town. Straightforward check in / check out. We had the best time and are already planning a return for next year!

We had an excellent stay. The host was extremely accommodating with our last minute reservation even going so far as to ensure we would be able to drive our RV onto the property with no issues. The house is beautiful but the views stole the show! Great location, excellent communication, beautiful home. Thank you!

The house was beautiful, and perfect for a weekend away with friends. It had everything we needed to be able to cook, and the large deck and outdoor furniture got a lot of use on a sunny weekend!

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay here, in particular the kitchen had all the equipment and utensils needed to comfortably cook and entertain. Views out over the harbour are amazing and a quick 5 minute drive into town.

Great spot!

Stunning spot, house is fantastic. Views just amazing and we loved cooking in the fabulous kitchen. Very happy with our stay there with friends to celebrate a big birthday :-)

Weekend with friends

We had a wonderful weekend staying at this beautiful bach. The spacious and well-appointed house was perfect for our group and the views are to die for! Highly recommended.

Excellent Stay

The property itself is wonderful and beyond our expectations. The location is close enough to Raglan but far enough away to feel as though we were in the county. The property manager was extremely helpful. Overall, our family had a really enjoyable stay and we look forward to returning.

Relaxing stay

We loved our stay at Byron Hill. The house was exactly as pictured & described, clean & hosts supplied basics (tea, coffee etc). The house is large & comfy with a long deck that has sun at different times of day. The views are amazing & it was so quiet!! Will definitely return when next in Raglan.

We'll be back

Amazing! Truely wonderful place to stay and the view is simply outstanding. Very warm and cosy. Excellent central heating and fantastic fireplace. BBQ on the deck was awesome 😎

Lovely house and excellent vacation

We loved the house. Well equipped kitchen if you are planning to cook. House has a great heating system so we did not feel cold. The view is simply stunning. Julls made the check in very smooth and was very accommodating too. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely Fabulous!!

We had 5 nights at Byron Hill and loved every minute of it. The house is beautiful and the views sensational. It was very well equipped and lovely having all the basics provided such as tea, coffee and other essentials. We will definitley be back. Julls is a fantastic host!

This is the second time we have stayed here. Absolutely loved it again. Fabulous house. Fantastic showers. Comfy beds. Everything you need is in the kitchen. Great place to stay for a group of six women. We will definitely be back again

Amazing!!

This property did not disappoint! Was exactly as described and perfectly suited our family group ranging from teens to elderly grandparents. The kitchen has every utensil you could ever need, and there was plenty of space for us all to spread out. Is in a lovely quiet location a little way out of town (not walkable), in a beautiful bush setting with incredible views! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing all round

Julls was very informative and fast to respond to any queries leading up to our stay. The view from the house was amazing. The kitchen is very well stocked up, there were a couple of items which we had forgotten to pack, but we were able to utilise some of the items in the pantry. Could not fault the whole experience. Thank you Julls for accommodating my family.

Cyclone Tam no match for Byron Hill!

What a perfect place to weather a storm! Stayed here with family and friends for Te Aranga/Easter and watched the wild weather from our accommodation but were safe and sound inside. Had all seasons in a weekend, so still managed a couple of strolls along the surf beach and the estuary and also to Wairēinga/Bridal Veil Falls, as well as taking in the view from the separate deck in the garden. Great kitchen for cooking up a storm (including hot cross buns!) and easily one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. Excellent.

Great transparent comms with manager. Property clean, well maintained and well equipped kitchen.

Property is clean and well maintained, house requires shoes left at the door which I greatly appreciate . Excellent equipped kitchen. Large enough to accommodate 2 families with sleeping areas on both sides of the house. Wonderful views. Regular night visits from an owl was interesting. Experience with Julls is wonderful, from initial queries to booking to duration of stay. Replies were prompt and information about the property upfront and transparent. There was an issue with an unconnected gas bottle during the stay resulting in no gas for showers or cooking. Julls replied to my emails almost immediately and showed up to resolve the issue within 30 mins. Would definitely recommend to others and also book this property again
