Could not have asked for a better stay! Lovely hosts! They told me all I needed to know and checked in on everything! The suite is gorgeous and has a beautiful garden I loved sitting in. Also the beach is literally across the road and it was gorgeous at high tide. Such a beautiful place and highly highly recommend :)

Murrays Bay hideaway

A beachside haven in North Auckland

Lovely helpful hosts, spotless comfortable accommodation in a lush garden setting & few minutes walk to Murray’s Beach & the causeway to Maraingi & Campbells Beach made my week’s stay a lovely relaxing experience whilst at the same time allowing me precious hours each day with a sick friend.

Lovely garden and spacious

Spent 3 nights at the property - comfy bed, spacious rooms, good kitchen and full of the basics necessary to have a very comfortable stay. The gardens are nice to walk through or just sit outside in the sun. Close by to beaches (with a walk) and other places to visit. Would happily go back again.

Wonderful Stay at Murray's Bay

Everything was exceptional. We enjoyed the lovely gardens. The bed was very comfortable. Bron and Trevor went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. If staying there check out Trevs wood working some terrific pieces.

Great accommodation.

What a lucky find for us in Murrays Bay. A spacious apartment with all mod cons, under the owners home. A beautiful garden in a quiet location with your own entrance. We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in this area.

Our suite was exactly as pictured and described in the listing … inside and out. Inside was clean, spacious, comfortable and outside was stunning with the private garden patio and view. The neighbourhood is close to shops and the Clifftop Walkway, metres away from the house, became a daily walk. Bron and Tref were extremely helpful hosts and answered all questions and provided many ideas for daily activities. Definitely recommend a stay with Brin and Tref.

Perfect for a long stay on the north shore

Very comfortable and well equipped Kitchen has enough to prepare all meals. Grill was great. And the patio was very private and an oasis of vegetation. Close to more than 6 lovely beaches. Browns Bay offers a wide variety of dinmg and shopping optios. Milford and Takapuna

Peaceful getaway

The place was immaculate, homely, private and restful, I felt so removed from the city. The hosts were lovely, the garden and views are great. There is a lovely walk to the sea and I loved watching the Tuis in the banana trees, I could walk up them. I highly recommend this place and will be returning there again on my next trip here

Auckland after the airport flood

Churchill by the Sea is exactly as advertised. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and respectful of privacy. Place was very clean, great location and a perfect setting for the 2 of us. Highly recommend it - would definitely return.

Perfect Stay

This is a lovely accommodation which we woudn't hesitate to recommend. It is well maintained with all facilities provided for us. Bryn and Tref were wonderful hosts being very friendly and helpful. The sliding french door opens from the lounge to a pleasant patio area with a table and chairs, ideal for a relaxing drink.

Very nice appartement with a nice view

We loved to stay there, it was very clean, Tref was always there and gave us a lot of ideas what to do. Since we suffered a bit from Jetlag we did not talk to much. We could do some nice excursions from the appartement. Parking and shopping was very easy as well.

A Great Experience

We spent 5 months in Bron and Tref's lovely apartment while we golfed through a Canadian winter. it was truly a home away from home and was exactly as shown on VRBO. Bron & Tref were the perfect hosts...very helpful and pleasant without being intrusive in any way. Truly a great experience.

Comfortable/Well appointed Apartment

Well appointed apartment. Nice location near the beaches. Good walking path on cliff top. Close to a good shopping centre. Internet connection was "flaky" - not sure why.

Thanks for your review, not sure why the wifi was not working as it should, we will certainly look at putting an extender into the suite.

Great location, comfortable digs, lovely hosts

Separate ground floor unit beneath owners home. Private entrance, stunning views, private garden space, comfortable bed with nice linens. Spacious lounge area, kitchen, dining room and shower room. Thoughtful touches throughout. Bron and Tref were great hosts, friendly and helpful. Washer/dryer was a bonus. Peaceful environment with lots of beautiful beaches and handy to shops and restaurants, but easy 29-30 minute drive into Auckland. Loved staying here for 3 nights!

Suite located on ground floor of owners house with private entrance. Large unit with separate bedroom (super-king-bed), fully equipped kitchen (including oven and induction hob), shower (water pressure very good) and large living room with 2 sofas & separate large dining table. Separate terrace with BBQ in nice tropical garden.Access from road a bit tricky and steep. Less suitable for very big cars.

Tref und Bron sind sehr freundliche und großzügige Gastgeber.Die Suite liegt zentral und ist gleichzeitig sehr ruhig gelegen, mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und den Rongitoto. Der Garten ist wunderschönen und sehr gepflegt.Die Ausstattung der sehr geschmackvoll, geräumig und praktisch.Wir sind sehr dankbar, dass wir da sein konnten und würden gerne wieder kommen.Rolf und Christine
