Great stay yet again. We went with the same group as last time - two other families - and the place is perfect. Loads of space, comfortable, clean and great sized back yard.

Amazing place for a fun-filled weekend!Must try the smoker and pizza oven, and the owners were super nice to communicate with. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing house! The host was very accommodating with great communications. House had plenty of space for our party of 12. The view from the deck in the morning was stunning. Close to amenities and a nice quiet street. Would 100% recommend this place.

Awesome place

Place was so lovely and way way better than you can imagine looking at the pictures. Heaps of space even for a big group.. specially for kids to runaround (both inside and outside) I would love to visit again and recommend it for anyone..

This property is really unique. It is perfect for a holiday with extended family. It is so spacious and comfortable with 2 kitchens and multiple living areas. . It was spotlessly clean

We were a big family group and this place suited us perfectly. Communication was very good and quick if I had questions and the location is amazing.

Clean and well equipped

Excellent spot to stay with a larger family group spanning three generations. We loved the two kitchens and two lounges, which came in handy to avoid congestion when it came to meal prep time. Clean, tiny, and well equipped kitchens were useful too! Loved the deck, pretty view, and trampoline for the kids.

We had a fabulous stay. Lyn was super helpful. This is our 6th bookabatch holiday and we all voted this is an awesome place to stay. The rooms were all clean and tidy and we couldn't have asked for a better set up. The two kitchens worked well one side for cooking and the other side for our after hours drinkies. Mangawhia has great beaches and the town has a good range of shops erc. We'll back in the future. Thank, thankyou thankyou

beautiful home, MikLyn were were friendly and helpful catered to my big family, 9kids and 8 adults..perfect, view n fully fenced house with big yard is a bonus especially with 1-3yr olds.. would recommend this beautiful house. we definitely coming back thank you, HENRY

Ideal bach for large families with kids

Couldnt ask for a better place to stay in mangawhai! Lots of space for the adults to relax and kids to play. Not to mention there is a very short walk down to the water from the house. Everyone in my group was very happy with the stay and said they would happily come again. The hosts Michael and Lyn were great at communicating and were very accommodating. Thank you again for letting us stay at your wonderful bach.

Beautiful Mangawhai house

This is a beautiful property and was perfect for our large group. The multiple bedroom configurations worked well and having two kitchens and two lounges provided ample communal space. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy. Communication from the managers was very professional. which is to die for!

As per other reviews - amazing multi family stay

Made for groups of friends with young kids. I didn’t actually leave the place all weekend. The kids LOVED it. Plenty of room. Super handy having two kitchens and the plastic bowls/ plates for little ones was perfect. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic bach for family groups

Having two kitchens for our 16 strong group was amazing. There was plenty of room with two lounges and the kids played outside all day. Right next to a track to the beach, a marvellous view, and kitted out with bbq, pizza oven and smoker - it was an entertaining dream. The owners were super responsive and lovely. 10/10 will book this bach again!

Everything you need and more!

We absolutely loved our stay here over Easter! It has everything you need to accommodate a large group with children, including a well equipped kitchen, a variety of bedroom configurations, and toys, books and games for the kids. It was wild and stormy weekend for our visit but house was perfect for watching the weather come and go. Mangawhai experienced a power outage on our first night, and we were very pleased to find several torches located in the kitchens. The outdoor oven was a highlight, with pizzas and Easter roast lamb featuring on the menu! Thanks so much for having us Michael and Lyn, we hope to be back again soon :)

100% recommend this large family home!

We loved our stay in this Mangawhai house! The convenience of two kitchens and living rooms was ideal for our stay with extended family. The house is very well organised and cleanliness is to a top standard. Communication with the owner was easy and detailed. The kids loved the large lawn area, trampoline and swing, keeping them busy for hours. Knowing the property is fully fenced gave us added peace of mind as well. Having the walking track down to the estuary right next door was very handy too. Thank you Mangawhai!

Perfect for families

We enjoyed many aspects of this property: 1. location to the estuary (walkway beside the property all the way to the waters edge) 2. Two well equipped kitchens/loungerooms - perfect for varying activites and conversation within the family/children groups. 3. Outdoor space with the most magnificent view! The 'dual' home is well set up for sport watching; family games and simply relaxing around the Pizza oven. We were especially fortunate to have a weekend of 'picture perfect' weather which meant we could utilise the outdoor space and views. Loved being able to speak directly with the property owner in order to do some planning before arrival. This made arriving with a large group of 12 adults and 2 kiddies so much easier! The owner was so very helpful with all my questions. Not being from the area, she was able to give me all the necessary 'pointers' to ensure our dream weekend was a huge success!. Thank you!
