Great place for a large family getaway

The home we stayed at was great for a large family. Fully fenced section. Lots of bedrooms and space for everyone to be together or have time apart. We loved our long weekend at this property. Close to the beach. Excellent location. The property had everything we required. Had a lovely time.

Big house with pretty much everything you need. All the toys in the garage are great and plenty of room for everyone. Good kitchen.

Massive house close to beach

We had 6 adults and the house felt enormous for that! Loved that we would used the equipment in the garage, and the back deck was a great place to hang out in partial shade/cover! The warm outdoor shower was a fun bonus for after beach visits too. Would recommend.

Omaha holiday

A really good place for our large family group (10) and small dogs (2). Everything we needed (maybe some smaller saucepans?) and lots of gear for activities. The wind was a bit of a dampener but we still got some good swimming in. Happy days.

Fabulous, huge, comfortable house perfect for our extended family group of 4 adults, 4 teens and two dogs! Only 3 min walk to the tennis courts and one more minute to the beach so an excellent location too. The garden was large and fully fenced as advertised. The enormous carpeted garage of ‘toys’ (scooters, bikes, kayaks, foosball table, cricket set etc) was an unexpected bonus kid hangout area! As was the media room upstairs. Enough comfortable seating in living area for all and big kitchen too.

Lovely beach, great location, shame about 1/2 the house without power & lack of hot water on the first night. Seems like it's a reoccurring theme for this property. Personally would have had it seen to as soon as possible......

Hi Chrissi, We received your call at 8.30pm Saturday night and the electrician was there at 8.30am Sunday morning. He has since been there again and fixed up things to prevent any further issues. Hope you still had a good weekend.

Great Bach at the far end of the beach, 5 mins from the beach. The highlight was the outdoor space, great for BBQs and general chilling

Wonderful Weekend

We had a fantastic long weekend here, property manager was excellent to deal with. The kids loved being so close to the playground and riding the scooters and bikes! Very spacious, great open plan living downstairs. A few little maintenance issues that could use some attention at the house which would make the stay even better.

Great Stay

Good house, sleeps a lot of people. Close to the beach. Not flash but comfortable. Kitchen was not as clean as we would have liked but apart from that it was really great and we could take our little dogs with us, which was wonderful! Great communication with property manger. Thank you.

Great place!

House is really well set up for a fun lomg weekend at Omaha! It has bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, skateboards, scooters, rackets etc. Very spacoois, 5 min walk from Beach and lovely afternoon sun in back deck. Perfect!

Great location and plenty of room

Had a fantastic stay and the house had plenty of areas where everyone could find a space to relax. Close to the beach and tennis courts and we made good use of the boogie boards. Nicola was a perfect host and helped us with all our questions and got back to us straight away. The only thing that we would have loved was some air conditioning to help cool the sweltering nights

Weekend away

The house and location was gorgeous. Unfortunately we heard from the property manager on the day of check in that there was going to be a Vector power outage from 8am the next day. We didn’t have much notice of this and she didn’t respond to my texts or emails to let us know when it would be back on. We ended up having no power or no water from 8am-4pm and they also hadn’t provided any gas so that was all a bit disappointing. Gorgeous house and location but bad comms and no response.

Great time

Awesome property, lots of room, great location, lots to do! Easy check in and check out process. Only note for people with young children is the large flight of stairs (tiles at the bottom) and heater (hot glass) so just be prepared to be on your toes 🙂 Thankyou!

Omaha

The house is spacious and well appointed. Easily caters for an extended family. Nicola at bookabach was very easy to deal with. The only thing was there were a couple of things that could do with attention; 1 blind that had list its drawstring so you couldn’t put it up and down, 1 window where the catches need some CRC as you couldn’t shut it and both the oven and BBQ needed a bit of a clean. Other than those, everything was great and we would book it again

Beach escape close to Auckland

Great getaway not too far from Auckland. Good bedrooms and setup for two families. Bonus to have boogie boards and cricket set and scooters etc to use.

Great for a holiday with teens

We had a great stay at this property. There was plenty of space for us and even though it was the middle of winter there was plenty to do. It was fantastic having use of skateboards, scooters, bikes etc at the property. The only suggestion I would make is it would be useful to have a clothes dryer for those times of the year where it's not so easy to dry towels etc outside.

Omaha for ocean activities

This suited our 4 couples and 2 dogs escape to the ocean, perfectly. Location was easily accessible for visits to the beach and those who chose to kitesurf could nip down to Snells Beach for their lesson. The good size kitchen made it easy to prepare the food and still be part of the conversation. Ideal also with plenty of equipment to keep everyone occupied throughout the day and board games for the evening. We're keen to do it again.
