The house exceeded our expectations: location, view, interior, heating (partially with fan, in the living room with wood fire), kitchen - everything was perfect! Communicatoin with the host (Lesley) was quick, direct and clear, their gallery and art is beautiful.

Ideal peaceful location.

Set in an ideal location with views across Waimea Inlet. This comfortable cottage felt like home from home. Our obliging hosts Darryl and Lesley were very welcoming.we wouldn’t hesitate to come again.

Masterpiece

We felt privileged to be able to stay in this lovely home in a fantastic setting. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with everything you need and panoramic views.

Wonderful Stay

Gorgeous property. The owner left fresh flowers and a generous welcome pack for us. Beautifully appointed cottage with everything you could possibly need. The views are fantastic and the location is excellent for exploring the region. Would stay again.

Let's go back!

A wonderful place to take a break. We never got tired of waking up to the beautiful views. Adored the artworks and garden, would definitely go back.

A really beautiful location, very tranquil and relaxing, and close to Mapua which is another lovely place to visit. The cottage is very comfortable and kitted out with everything you need and the real fire was a bonus. Amazing views out of every window and the gardens are a joy to sit in. Wouldn't hesitate to book this place again

Quiet, comfortable, charming cottage. Delightful outdoor seating area; views to the bay; five minute drive to village. Perfect stay! Wonderful owners live nearby.

Beautiful Cottage

The hosts were amazing and the cottage was super clean and welcoming. Touch of fresh flowers and some little treats in the fridge. Eco friendly too.

Wonderful place, loved staying there.

Bronte Tides Cottage is a very special place with stunning views of the tidal estuary and sunrises. I stayed for 3 weeks and was delighted to find it even had an office room, which I could use for yoga as well as carrying on my business. Sunny and warm when the sun shines, and has a fire for the colder months.

Brilliant weekend

The property is in an amazing location, so nice to wake up to sunrise over the estuary. Super clean, neat and tidy. Wonderful accommodating hosts. Couldn't ask for more

Best Place We've Ever Stayed

Everything about our stay was as good as it could be, Home is well equipped and communication was very helpful. It was the location on the edge of the bay which really did it for us though. The outdoor space, setting and views are just glorious. Would have stayed longer if we could, would stay again if it wasn't on the other side of the world from home.

The cottage was even better than the photos which is hard to believe because the photos were fantastic. This was a true oasis and Lesley was the perfect host. We loved all the thoughtful little touches... 2 x luggage racks plus a luggage bench in each room. The hot water bottles that matched the decor... truly Kiwiana. This is truly a place that feels like a private sanctuary.

The property is in a wonderful location, very peaceful, with views of the estuary, but also close to restaurants, vineyards and art galleries. The garden is beautifully kept and very private. The house itself is similarly well kept, very comfortable and very clean. The furnishings are stylish, and with Darryl and Lesley's art on the walls it was a lovely place to stay.

Magical property with incredible views

As soon as we pulled up we knew this was a special place. The garden is stunning and the house is extremely comfortable and attractive. Kayaking on the estuary was a big plus. Lesley and Darryl are extremely friendly and helpful, and left lovely little touches that made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!
