This new double glazed home is built to take in the spectacular mountain views. Located right in the village it is easy access to the shop, ski field and lake. it is only a 10 minute walk down the beautiful Black Valley Stream to the lake edge. This home is furnished with a mixture of new and old, so if you need matching cutlery this is not the place for you. This is a wifi free house but we have a great selection of games and books to pass your time in the evenings or on a rainy day. There is cell phone reception. There is a second toilet in the house.

Extras: Cleaning (Optional, NZ$150.00 per stay); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);

Stunning views, plenty of room for everyone to relax and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Plenty of space for parking. A very nice house and hopefully we get to stay here again

Kea Castle was absolutely perfect for our family gathering at St Arnaud - outstanding view, great kitchen and dining area which accommodated everyone easily. Plenty of off street parking was a bonus. Thank-you River

Perfect weekend away

We had a fantastic weekend away. The house is perfectly located, with everything you need. Really clear instructions for before, during and after your stay and the host was very responsive. Loved the spot - will definitely stay again.

Lovely Stay

A group of friends spent a long weekend at the Kea Castle. We had a lovely time!! The place is perfect for a big group of people with plenty of beds and lots of space to hang out. Easy to walk down to the lake too

Perfect Getaway Property and Location

We have stayed at many different properties in St Arnaud and this would by far be the best we have had. Great location, very warm, comfortable and beautiful views. Whether you are with a smaller or larger group, this property will be the perfect option for your next holiday. Thank you!

Highly recommend!

The views are fabulous, and there's plenty of space for everyone to relax. The home is well equipped, and it's nice and handy to the lake. I highly recommend a stay here!
