Absolute Beach Frontage - Te Ngaere Bay

We offer full refund for bookings cancelled due to travel restrictions.

Situated at Te Ngaere Bay, a small seaside community about 40 minutes' drive north of Kerikeri. The owner's parents built their dream house using Hinuera Stone, Cedar and Rimu beams. The house provides a comfortable roomy place to relax and enjoy the sea and its wildlife. There are many activities, including Fishing, Diving, Golfing, boating, and many scenic walks from coastal walks to Kauri Forest walks. There is a stream at the end of the beach that provides boat launching for 4WD vehicles. The Whangaroa Harbour is situated 30-minute drive to the north and is well worth a cruise to see the dramatic rock formations.

A favourite place to stay

Great beachfront property

We had a wonderful family weekend at Chris’ property at Te Ngaere Bay. Truly beachfront and a fantastic real Kiwi bach with books, games a bit of history but also all of the mods cons like a Nespresso machine, wifi, polished concrete floors, induction cooker and granite bench tops. Was pet friendly for our dog with was a wonderful bonus and he loved the beach. A wonderful weekend-thank you

Beachfront getaway

We loved the location right on the beach. Big deck and outside area AND use of the owners kayaks AND we were allowed to take our dogs! The beach is fabulous AND close to Matauri Bay and Tauranga Bay for awesome day excursions. The house had everything we needed. The owners were excellent to deal with. Top holiday getaway. We loved it and will stay there again

We loved our stay in this beautiful spot. The bach is comfortable, had everything we needed, and has a great vibe. The beach is beautiful. First visit to Northland for us and it was amazing. Chris made all aspects of our stay easy

Family Stay

Stayed for an unveiling at local cemetery. Four night stay, was amazing. Plenty of space, right on the beach, excellent communication from Chris, very good quality appliances and kayaks/boats/life jackets. Kids (and adults) absolutely loved it. Highly recommend, would love to come back. Thanks Chris.

Unbeatable Location

Position is perfect beachfront, beautiful views, good swimming beach. Very grateful to be able to bring my dog. Kitchen very well equipped. We were a little sad that property needs some attention. Section and entrance untidy and some parts of the interior could be better presented. Neighbours properties are immaculate. However our host was wonderful - most obliging and great communication. Many thanks.

A favourite place to stay

Fantastic location and great bach

We had an awesome stay - seven days so the on top of the amazing beaches and just sitting looking at the beach and island view there was kayaking, snorkeling, a great walk and day trips fairly close, the table tennis and lots of books which came in handy. Chris was great to communicate with and would definitely recommend.

Spacious and relaxing

Chris' property is definitely one we would return to again. It's right on the perfect beach in a quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed and more to relax. Highly recommended

Amazing!

What an amazing location. Well worth the visit, even in the cooler months. The house has a great fire place and our lovely host made sure we were well stocked with firewood. The access to the beach and surround areas are better then none. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Melanie

Te Ngaere Bay Heaven

Fantastic location and house. Can not speak highly enough of the property and the house is well set up, so welcoming and feels like you have gone home. Highly recommend for a chill-out spot, best family get-away yet! The beach is fantastic and right at your door step!!! Thank you Chris.

Blissful few days!

The bach was just as described in the listing, had everything we needed and some! We really enjoyed the '1970's' homewares and bach style. Lovely position nestled in beside the beach. Te Ngaere is a lovely bay as it is very quiet and there are not many baches there. Great for swimming (safe) and we had great fun using the 2 kayaks that were supplied. We would definitely go back if we had the opportunity!

A great place to relax

Great house at a wonderful location. Chris was very good at communicating which helped with our overall experience. We had great weather which also added to our time. Will definitely be coming back.
