A nice quiet location with plenty of walks nearby and close to the hot pools in Methven. The cottage was clean and tidy and a good base to enjoy what the area has to offer.

It is a lovely well appointed cottage that has all you need and enjoys a great view of the hosts lovely garden. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this place to stay at and hope we get back there to do some more exploring round the area.

Quiet haven

Leonie was a great communicator. Easy checking in and cottage had everything we needed. The garden setting is beautiful and quiet. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Why did you not contact us when this happened. Unfortunately some guests fiddle with the controls and turn the oven to auto. There are instructions available in our guest info book. And we are always only a ph or txt away. We are sorry this happened during your stay. Regards Leonie and Peter

The cottage is set in a beautiful garden. It is well appointed and has everything we could have wanted and was the best of all our stays in New Zealand. If we return to NZ we will definitely revisit Somers Holiday cottage.

Lovely little spot

Decor quite dated but the cottage had everything you need and was lovely and clean and tidy. Mt Somers is a cool little spot!
