Read a book in the hanging chair. Moturoa shops a further 5 min walk.
Child friendly Ngamotu beach and playground just a 5 min drive, the stunning Paritutu rock is an easy climb for the able and for the surfers Back Beach is only another 2 mins away.
A highly recommended short steep climb up Mt Paritutu gives a spectacular view of the city and surrounding coast as well as an unobstructed view of
Mt Taranaki, Pouakai range and North Egmont walks and treks are only 30 mins away.

Undercover parking for one, turn-around for two vehicle only up driveway.

The house was just what we needed! Every comfort and need was thought of. We enjoyed its proximity to the Coastal Walkway. Our hosts were very accommodating.

What a fantastic house for us. Nani, Koro and our 5 Moko made the most of the space and games (while waiting for the others in the shower).Thank you Wendy & Peter for helping us out with the early in and late out, that was extremely helpful.The house feels like a comfortable safe family home.

Nice cute stay

Me and my family stayed there for two nights… really enjoyed the place and my kids really appreciated the toys… Nice clean house, near to the walks… will come back again…

Sea Breeze at The Chocolate Box

We loved our stay at The Chocolate Box, perfect fit for our family, lovely, comfortable and really nice. We felt spoilt to be near the ocean, off the main road, to have the massage chair and be so close to the Thermal mineral pools..

Easy access process, warm, clean and very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and the double bed we used gave us good slumber. TV worked perfectly. We will stay here again.

Perfect family stay

A great location to access New Plymouth and the region. The house was perfect for our family to be able to relax, have our own spaces, but also enjoy being together. Great to be able to cook a meal, play with the toys, and easily get into town. Good comms from the host. Our second time at this property and would stay again! Thanks.
