The pictures of the property don’t do justice to how beautiful and peaceful the setting is. Everything about the property oozes charm and warmth. We loved our stay here.

We throughly enjoyed our stay- fantastic location within arms reach of native bush. Beautiful view from the lounge and everything readily available to make the stay relaxed and comfortable.

Lovely stay at this spacious, comfortable home with great access to tracks and the area. We heard moreporks on the first night and saw / heard lots of other native birds. The beauty is that one side of the house is a typical street whereas the back looks over stunning hills, native bush and tracks.The deck was secure for our wee dog. The garden isnt fenced but this did not affect our stay as there are great tracks for walking right from the property. Great showers and comfy beds. The piano and pool table were particularly popular with our teens. Be prepared that there is an induction stove so maintaining contact with the top was a challenge for some of the pans.Slightly disappointing that the coffee machine which features in the photos was not fully operational but that's a minor thing. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others and would stay again. Thank you for your hospitality.

We enjoyed everything about this place. It’s well set-up for holidaymakers, the location is lovely and communication and check-in was pleasant and straightforward. We especially liked the back deck and nature views.

Relaxing stay

Absolutely loved staying here and would definitely stay again. Whole house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is nice and private. Great easy location with lots of walking/ bike tracks around.Favourite part was relaxing on the balcony on the couch with all the lovely sounds of the birds in the morning.

Peaceful family retreat

Fantastic place and great value for money. We had the boat in the marina which was only 2 minutes away so nice and handy. Will be booking again soon.

Thoroughly recommend this batch

We five adult family members had a delightful three night stay. The facilities were just what we needed. The location is perfect for easy access to town and the marinas. The batch was clean, quiet, spacious and well equipped. Communication with the owner could not have been better.

Great house for getaway

The house is very well equipped and is private. Awesome deck which looks out to bush and a reserve. The beds are very hard, which was the only down fall for us. If you like a hard bed then the house is perfect.

A nice quiet neighborhood. Tracks out the back door. Short trips to Marlborough wine area and Queen Charlotte Sound. House was as pictured: great. We really enjoyed the espresso machine!
