Relaxing and wonderful

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After a stressful stay in Atlanta, we really enjoyed our stay on Jekyll Island. We could take a short half mile walk to the beach. Watching the sunrise on the ocean in the morning with a cup of coffee just can't be beat.

A lot of the blinds that were broken. The house was open with keys on the table but they had the wrong number on it. The house had 3b on outside but keys and envelope had 3a. We called the emergency number and said it was a mistake but he didnt seem to know. Tvs were confusingand we were.unable to find any regular things we normally watched.

Fishing Trip

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed the cute beach cottage . The skylight and cute turtle table were nice touches. We only eat steak and would have really used an outside grill. Cooked once inside but exhaust fan wasn’t adequate to clear smoke. Probably need to spray for roaches- again... found droppings and big ones in kitchen.

Good stay; good energy

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. It had all we needed, and we enjoyed our stay.Pros:-Location; loved the neighborhood. Walkable to beach.-Tile floor extremely clean! My feet had no dirt marks when walking barefoot in my pjs.-The kitchen was the best-stocked of 3 rentals we've used on Jekyll. -The updated tile in bathroom was pretty and durable-Tub was clean (we noted others' remarks about it being slippery and bought a plastic tub mat at Dollar Tree as we do at every Jekyll rental because they all have slippery tubs). -Beds comfortable enough but not as comfortable as other JI rentals.-Yard was pleasant though we didn't spend much time in it.-Light tunnel skylight was helpful not use lights in daytime, and reminded us to conserve energy.-Loquat tree in front yard was interesting.Cons:-Showerhead is like a sandblaster. I was in searing pain! Awful!-Sofa felt so dirty I didn't want to sit on it. It was stiff, pitched forward on the seat, just miserable. Also too small for today's sofa seat sizing.-Not enough seating. It was super stark in the living room. One smaller sofa and one chair. Both with dirty upholstery to the point where I cringed to sit there.-No dresser in twin bedroom. Shelves installed inside closet would do the trick.

Tabby Cottage

Our stay was very good. It was clean and updated. It was in a nice location too. Our only concern was we needed another pot and a bigger dish drainer. I cook so that was a bit limiting. It was chilly and more blankets would have been appreciated.

Is was convenient not having to deal with bringing our own bikes. The hot tub at the Days inn was an added benefit.

Jekyll Island Family Vacay

The property was wonderful. Very spacious with everything I needed. The location was great for the beach, shopping,etc. We had fantastic weather and definitely will come back to Jekyll again

This one in particular was quite clean and had plenty of kitchen utensils for our one-week stay. It was a calm, quiet neighborhood and my husband and I had such a relaxing anniversary trip because of it.

Just a few suggestions: There was a stain on one of the covers on the twin bed. There was a broken coaster on the night stand in the Master bedroom.The closet door on the hallway closet is off track.The shower curtain had mold on it and needs to be replaced.There were no steak nor sharp knives at all in the house!The duplex was clean and had great updates and renovation, but the yard was a disaster.

plenty of space for my family of 3. quiet street. short walk to the beach. everything we needed. The goodie bag was a great unexpected gift. living room TV wouldn't connect. guy came & just swapped it with the one in the bedroom. no biggie. Loved the deer that came into the yard. Would love to see it decorated differently. very white & plain. But other than that we enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

October 2020 Stay

Georgia Tabby-A was wonderful and we hope to return again next year ! It was clean, nicely decorated and a fairly short walk to the beach access, great central location. The beds were comfortable, sort of a medium firmness. We did hear the neighbor’s dog collar rattle and her phone go off next door but it was no biggie to us, may have been annoying if she had been louder. I was surprised and glad that there was a glass blender in the unit. We had a couple hiccups with the internet that was quickly resolved. The A/C went out one night around 6pm. We called and Jekyll Realty had someone out there within an hour. Fixed in just a few minutes! Jekyll Realty was superb and accommodated my every request for a scent free unit with no strong cleaners or scented laundry detergent on the linens. We were greeted with the lights on, door unlocked, and a welcome bag on the table since we checked in late. They really went above and beyond to make our stay great and it was. We would highly recommend them and Ga Tabby-A.
