Almost Heaven LeConte is a 2 sided cabin that sleeps 6.
Almost Heaven Ober is the other side.
Have a bigger group? You can rent both sides.
It sits at the top of Cove Mountain with 1 of the best views in Gatlinburg.
There are no common spaces inside the cabin.
Everyone in your group must be able to walk up 2 full flights of stairs.
If anyone is unable to walk up 2 flights, please do not rent here.

We have been in the cabin hosting business since 2012.

Best view in Gatlinburg

Stunning views of Smoky Mtns, Le Conte, property had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay. My kids loved playing pickleball in the garage. Check in and out was the easiest we have had in a VRBO. Highly recommend staying here, escape the noise and crowds of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg to your own quiet mountain retreat!

The place was clean and vey well maintained. The views were absolutely stunning. We spent most of our time on the back deck. Highly recommend it.

The end to family vacay

We had been to Florida for a week and decided to make a stop in Gatlinburg on the way home. And sure am glad we did! This cabin was absolutely amazing. The view was phenomenal! The Pickleball court inside was so much fun such a great idea! Definitely will be staying here again!

Perfect getaway!

The cabin was well stocked, had a breathtaking view, and was the perfect place to relax! My family was able to enjoy a few well picked outings and come back to serene, welcoming surroundings. I will visit again!

The cabin was in an awesome area with a beautiful view it was very clean. Beds were comfy. If you want to see bears stay in this cabin and go out around 9:00 they make their rounds.The owner was very nice and helpful. Would recommend this cabin.

Beautiful Home with Awesome Views and Great Location

The house was just as it was advertised to be. Beautiful and nicely decorated. The location was convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We saw bears almost everyday in the area. Enjoyed our stay and did not have any issues with the home or our stay.

Birthday celebration-Smoky Mountain get away

We loved our stay at this rustic cabin, truly tucked away, in the beautiful Smoky Mountains!! From the moment we stepped into the cabin, we felt relaxed and away from the hustle and bustle!! We spent so much time on the balcony, admiring the BEAUTIFUL view! Every night at least one of us enjoyed the hot tub :) We highly recommend this cabin to anyone who will be vacationing in this area. We can’t wait to come back!!

Excellent view and location

Seamless renting process. The owner is very responsive. Great location and within minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Both towns were buzzing and crowded when we went for Spring Break so it was nice to come back to the cabin where it’s quiet and isolated. The place is new and clean. The exterior doesn’t look like a traditional cabin but the interior is exactly that. It is a duplex and the other unit was rented while we were there, but the walls were pretty insulated and sound-proofed. We spent a lot of time in the living room and kitchen table and enjoyed a superb and unobstructed view of the mountains. View from the deck is exquisite. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. There is a security system and we felt safe in the area. We worked remotely a few days, had a few video calls, and didn’t have issues with the wifi. I highly recommend this property.

Wow! Couldn't ask for better!

LeConte is fantastic. We had a group of 6 nurses/aides that loved our stay. The cabin was meticulously clean in all areas. The view is gorgeous, peaceful, and mesmerizing. The beds were made and smelled freshly laundered. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. Although we did not cook, there was a more than adequate amount of pots, pans and utensils to cook with. The option of the drip coffee maker or the Keurig was a nice feature, along with the multiple coffee cups. Of course, there were wine glasses and a wine opener to help with relaxing. A dishwasher was available, too. The atmosphere of the cabin is cozy and welcoming. We felt safe during our stay at LeConte. The patio had a picture-perfect view of the mountains. It also provided privacy for the hot tub, which was thoroughly needed and enjoyed. It was nice to have the washer and dryer available to use. The 2 showers had great pressure and stayed hot during the multiple long showers. It was nice to have 3 toilets available. The directions to the cabin were spot on. Communication was excellent! 10 out of 10...would stay again! Thank you for allowing some healthcare workers the opportunity to unwind and relax.

The cabin was very private. Very disappointed that the bathtub wasn't in working order. The stopper was broken and my husband tried to make it work with plastic or wash cloth but they just didn't work. He really tried to fix it but it shouldn't have been his responsiblility. I have major back issues due to scoliosis and it helps at the end of the day to sit in a hot tub for awhile. It was one of the main reason we picked this place, The sofas were not very comfortable at all. The cushions were very flat and worn out and the ends and the covers on the sofa just kept coming off. We left early because we just didn't feel comfortable. Gatlinburg was great and we did our best to enjoy being there.

The house is in a great area. Close to everything but it feels far away and secluded. The view from the back deck are amazing and were a highlight of each day. We will be staying here again

Gatlinburg Stay

Great location! Home was very well maintained and quick communication with owner.The view from the back porch can’t be beat!Also my son and husband loved the pickle ball court, a really nice addition we didn’t know we needed, would definitely stay again

We are Lisa and Pat Toner. We visited Gatlinburg when our 2 sons were younger. We loved the area so much that we bought our first cabin Scenic Hideaway. This mountain top duplex is our second venture into the cabin rental industry. We raised our sons on the Gatlinburg experience. They are men now. We hope that they will raise their families here as well. We are a family run business and are here to stay. Please give us a chance to show you our hospitality.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Perfectly located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. AH LeConte is located about 3 minutes off the Spur (321/441), only 7 minutes to either town, or 10 minutes to Dollywood. As always, traffic permitting. You can either come up Cove Mountain Road, or Flat Branch Road. If you are going to Gatlinburg from the cabin, take the Spur and quickly get off at the Gatlinburg Bypass. This will take you to the far end of town and you can enter Gatlinburg from the lighter traffic side. If you are going to Pigeon Forge, take Flat Branch Road. This will allow you to enter the Spur after the tunnel and reduce the time traveling to Pigeon Forge. The less time spent on the Spur the better. This is why this area is best area to be in if you plan on spending time in both towns. This is the ultimate location.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Peacefully located off the Spur close to the Gatlinburg Welcome Center. This area is frequented by 8-10 resident bears, wild turkeys, deer, bobcats and other wildlife. Watch from deck for hawks and eagles as they glide through the valley to the river down below. It is a great place to stroll around and take in all of the mountain air. The tranquility of sitting on the rocking chairs and looking at Mt. LeConte is refreshing. Life slows down and you can relax here.
