Set in the prestigious enclave of the Kawarau Apartments, this penthouse sits majestically above Lake Wakatipu and the Kawarau river, offering spectacular vistas of the Southern Alps that will leave you in awe.
The Space:
Step into this opulent retreat and indulge in a luxurious living experience like no other. This penthouse occupies the entire top floor of this beautiful building.
The spacious, contemporary design features cozy lounge and dining areas, perfectly complemented by an inviting fireplace surrounded by locally sourced schist stone. Step out on to the expansive rooftop deck and soak in the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains, where the outdoor dining table and chairs beckon you to indulge in al fresco dining and entertaining. There is a gas weber BBQ available for outdoor cooking.
As you retreat to one of the three luxurious double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite facilities, you'll find the ultimate in comfort and relaxation.
In the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, you'll find everything you need to create a culinary masterpiece. And with unlimited ultra-fast WiFi at your fingertips, you'll stay connected to the world without compromising on luxury. This is truly a retreat like no other, where every moment is designed to indulge your senses and leave you feeling pampered and rejuvenated.
Nestled in between The Remarkables and Coronet Peak, this apartment is ideal for skiers, boarders, hikers, and walkers. There are so many epic adventures just waiting to be enjoyed!
BEDDING CONFIGURATION:
Bedroom 1- Super King Size Bed
Bedroom 2- Super King Size Bed which can be split into two single beds.
Bedroom 3- King Size Bed
Please note: Bedroom two will be set up as a king bed as default. If you want two single beds in that bedroom, you must inform us at least 3 days prior to arrival. If you want the beds split after your arrival, then there will be a charge of $150 NZD for the team to come out and change the linen.
The Hilton Hotel is right next door to this building. You are welcome to go and visit the Hilton Hotel and enjoy their Wakatipu Grill restaurant and or their Spa. There is a charge of $29 NZD per person to use the Hilton indoor pool, spa, sauna and steam room. Children are welcome but must be supervised by their parents. The Hilton Spa also offers other spa treatments such as facials, massage, etc. Please visit the Queenstown Hilton website for more information.
The Queenstown Water Taxi runs 7 days a week, every hour between 8 am to 10 pm. The pick up point is located right in front of the Hilton Hotel, approx 250 metres walk from our apartment. The Water Taxi goes straight into downtown Queenstown, making a couple of stops along the way. There is a charge per person to use the Water Taxi. Please visit Queenstown Ferries for more information.
Baby Accessories - We can provide a portacot, high chair and baby bath on request at a fee of $50 . Please notify us at least 3 days prior to arrival. You will need to provide your own linen/blankets for the portacot.
Parking Note: There is one dedicated, indoor, free of charge, car space allocated to this apartment. It is located approx 250 metres away from the front entrance of the building. There is a drop off car space directly in front of the front entrance of the building where guests can drop off their passengers and luggage, but you will then have to drive your vehicle over to the dedicated car space. Alternatively you can park your car outside in an on-street car space along the road next to the building, but these car spaces are on a first-come, first served basis. The dedicated car space can fit a car or large SUV... but it will not fit a campervan. Campervans or very large vehicles will have to be parked outside along the road.
Please, strictly no pets, no smoking indoors and no parties/events. Breaking of these rules will result in your stay being cancelled and you will need to depart with no refund of remaining time.
A minimum 3 night stay applies during the Christmas and New Year period.
A maximum of 6 guests are allowed.
The guest making the booking must be 25 years old or older. If you are under 25, please contact us seeking permission to book. We are willing to grant permission to those under 25 years old to make a booking, but we want to discuss with you first.

Guest Access:
This property has private parking for one vehicle. In order to use this, we will need your license plate number prior to your arrival. Please ensure you give this, otherwise your vehicle will be towed. The building has a security front entrance off the road. The code for that front door will be given to you three days before you check in. Once you enter through the building front door, you will take an elevator to the top (5th) floor. The front door of the apartment will then be in front of you and will require another code to enter. That code will also be given to you three days before you check in.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is an exclusive part of Queenstown, with many million dollar water front homes nearby. The Queenstown Airport is 2.6 km from the apartment. The Five Mile Shopping District is 3 km away. Downtown Queenstown is 10 km away.
Getting Around:
We recommend having a car if you want to travel around the greater Queenstown area, however, the Water Taxi is also available if you want to go into downtown Queenstown quickly and easily and not have to worry about traffic or parking.
Other Things to Note:
Please, no pets, no smoking indoors and no parties/events.
A maximum of 6 guests are allowed. The guest making the booking must be at least 25 years of age. If you are younger than 25, please contact us before making the booking… we may accept your booking request depending on your situation and past reviews.
This penthouse is NOT a party house.
The unit is equipped with technology to monitor excessive noise.
