Very spacious. Many nice touches from coffee and condiments and excellent cook ware. All drawers marked made finding things easy. Great local and killer back deck w beautiful view of harbor.

The three level floor plan is a bit of a challenge for hadicapped guests. Overall very satisfied with stay.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful couple of days at this beautifully decorated home! It truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The location on the harbor was lovely! And walkable to restaurants and playground. It was exactly what we were looking for in our stay!

This property was very clean and comfortable. The beds were just ok. The listing showed 4 bathrooms; it’s really two full baths (both on the third level) and two half baths. The listing did say the fourth bedroom room was a pull out couch, but we were not able to find any linens to set that up for sleeping. Messages to the host were answered but not were not helpful. (For example, we were told to check the cabinet under the tv, but there was no cabinet under the tv.)

Choptank Retreat...at the Lighthouse Villa

Perfect. We loved everything about the Lighthouse Villa....Cambridge, walking around harbor/downtown, biking the Blackwater Refuge , the VILLA, the pool, Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, lots of great dining options ( we did RAR, Suicide Bridge, Portside, Doc's Sunset Grille, Waters Edge Grill, Momma Maria's, Foxy's Harbor Grille...need to go back to try more sites). DID I MENTION THE VILLA...PERFECT!

Awesome place! All brand new.

Was here for cycling team camp in Cambridge.This place is brand new!Even has the new house smell. It has all the amenities we needed.It was super clean and organized. The host provided all the details we needed and was super responsive. It also has a game room in the garage and every room had a big screen TV.Exceptional place. would highly recommend! 10 stars out of 5

Wedding

There was 19 in our group. I rented two locations. This was one of them and was perfect for all the adults and kids. They had a great time and really enjoyed the use of the pool. The place was very clean and had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. The host was very helpful and answered any questions quickly.

A family-friendly stay!

We really had such a lovely time. The home was spotless and included so many little extras (like ziplock bags, snacks, spices and coffee). The beds were cozy and there were plenty of places to stretch out or enjoy the scenery from the deck. The game room was a real bonus to bond as a family away from devices. We were a short drive from some nice places to have lunch and breakfast. The location allowed us to take short day trips for scenic or historical walks. I had a few planning questions which were addressed kindly and professionally. I would highly recommend this villa. The hosts keep the place in top condition.

Our group of four friends loved this property and its location. The attractive decor and furnishings are just as advertised. We were amazed at how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were with no need to bring any basic supplies. The location near the town of Cambridge and the other charming towns of Easton, Oxford, and St. Michaels provided many fun activities and great restaurants. We are already planning to return next year!

We had an incredible stay as a family of seven (husband and wife with five kids), and this home exceeded our expectations. The location right on the bay is absolutely breathtaking — peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway.The home was spotless, spacious, and beautifully updated. Everything worked perfectly, and it smelled amazing as soon as we walked in. The kitchen was fully stocked (including seasonings), and the labeled drawers plus detailed instruction book made settling in effortless. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus for our family.We didn’t have to worry about essentials — everything was provided, which made the stay stress-free. From my daughter’s perspective, the home was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, with a beautiful view that made the experience even better.We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like Bibles and subtle scripture throughout the home — it truly reflects the heart of the owners and added a sense of peace.The home was clearly designed with families in mind. You can tell the hosts genuinely care. We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped bayfront stay. It truly felt like a place prepared with intention, comfort, and care — not just a rental, but a home.
