'Infinity Cottage' - surrounded by orchards, pasture, bush and mountains

We offer a gorgeous and spacious four bedroom cottage on our working farm. Infinity Cottage has breathtaking views over our avocado orchards, paddocks of friendly cows and calves, native bush, rainforests and distant mountains. You will experience misty mountain mornings, spectacular sunsets, a great variety of bird life and native animals from the cottage and by exploring the c. 900 acre farm.

Infinity Cottage's living area includes a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining table, smart TV. games and books. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms new and freshly renovated. The verandah, with dining table for 12 people, provides a great additional outdoor living space.

Our farm is located on a 2-wheel-drive friendly gravel road. It is 10 minutes’ drive to the historic Boorganna Nature Reserve with impressive rainforest and Rawson Falls; 15 minutes’ drive from Comboyne village with popular cafe, store, and other amenities; 45 minutes to the iconic Ellenborough Falls; and about 1 hour from both Port Macquarie and Taree. Please note that our property has not been affected by the recent rains although sturdy boots are best for walking on our farm or in the Boorganna Nature Reserve.

The hosts, Pim and Simon, were welcoming and very friendly. We were spoilt with avocados, lemons and fresh herbs. Surprise bubbles in the fridge also appreciated. The house is comfortable, clean and has everything you need for a great stay. Great location for nearby waterfalls and hikes

Our stay at Infinity Cottage was so wonderful! The cottage is comfy and cozy, well-appointed for cooking, and boasts stunning views from the deck. We enjoyed avocado toast in the mornings listening to the birds and watching the mist lift in the valley. Then in the evenings, unwinding by the fire pit and staring at the stars. Pim and Simon are exceptional hosts - generous not only with their produce (avocados, oranges and tamarillos galore!) but their time and chat (what a well-travelled, interesting pair!). We were fortunate to join them in exploring the farm, feeding the cows, and collecting and juicing oranges. The kids loved their time here, as did we. Thank you so much for your generosity and including us in farm life - wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back again! Za, Jon, Talis and Maija.

An Overall 10/10 weekend. You couldn’t ask for more kind and friendly host, who ensured any needs were met. The house was beautiful and overlooked one of the most amazing views that I have seen stretching as far as the eye can see. Also by far and away the best avocados I have eaten. Plenty of space to hike around and plenty of cows to see. There is not a single negative thing I could say about this amazing property and its host.

We are a retired couple, originally from New Zealand but have spent much of our adult lives in Australia and the UK. We bought ‘Infinity Farm’ five years ago and have planted an avocado orchard here as well as numerous other fruit trees and native trees. We are also rearing Angus cattle and currently hold over 130 cows and calves. We both love the outdoors, art and design, many different sports, socialising, gardening, growing fruit, and watching our cows and their calves as we sip wine from our verandah. We would like to share some of these experiences and the beauty of our farm and the surrounding area with our guests.

We chose to live in this area as the closest location to Sydney, and grandchildren there, to grow avocados commercially. We fell in love with Comboyne and its friendly people, and especially with the location of our farm which is surrounded by mountains, native bush and rainforests that provide breathtaking views in many directions. We are also relatively close to the beaches in the Port Macquarie area. We enjoy the temperate climate with cool evenings but also the possibilities to grow many different types of fruit and other tropical plants.

This is a busy working farm in a truly spectacular location that provides opportunities for visitors to experience a wide gamut of farm life, including many different walks on farm tracks through paddocks and native bush. Infinity Cottage is brand new with much of the timber grown and milled on the farm.
