The house was amazing! There was plenty of room for everyone. The gas grill and fire pit allowed outdoor cooking options. This is not a fishing or swimming from the dock/ home, you would need to drive for lake use. The kayaks were great to allow some activity on the lake. The dock was surrounded by reeds and lily pads. The location to walking paths amazing! Overall great place to stay!

Property has great location. Lake was very nice and great view of the Fourth of July fireworks. Layout is a little different than expected. Master bedroom is downstairs in the basement. The rest of your bedrooms are upstairs. Could use a little update on curb appeal, but house inside is nice overall.

Space served its purpose. Deck and dock were a concern…didn’t want to put too many people on the deck because of stability. Upstairs would also not cool down and no instructions were given on how to control thermostat.

The deck was rebuilt last year and passed all required building inspections. The floating dock is designed to rise and fall with changing lake water levels, which can make it feel different from a fixed dock while providing easier access to the water. Since your stay, we've cleaned the outside A/C condenser and confirmed the system is cooling properly. We'll also review the thermostat instructions to help make them clearer for future guests. The property was beautifully redone/updated on the inside. Kitchen and bathrooms were gorgeous! We saw some amazing sunsets off the back porch. The view of the lake was gorgeous! The only things I would improve would be a better and more central firepit, a repaired dock, and a warmer downstairs ( it got super cold downstairs with the air on. Katherin was super responsive, and let us have early check- in, which made life so much easier for one of our families with young kids. Katherin even checked the house and got back with me quickly after I thought I left some clothes there after check- out. This house is quite a find and a real gem!

Easy check-in. The location was great--lakeshore property, secluded, with easy access to the highway and nearby shops, restaurants, and activities.

Great place to stay. Check in and check out were very easy for us. We used one of the rollaway beds downstairs, and it was very comfortable. We would stay there again if we make another trip to the area.

The bathtub isn't good for mobility issues. The bathtub was slimy and slippery because it wasn't cleaned well. The location was great and has beautiful views. The park is super close and a gorgeous walk. The house is very large with plenty of space.

We are not sure if you are referring to the main floor bathtub or the jacuzzi tub on the lower level. We are sorry that the cleaners didn't wash off the cleaning detergent well from the tub. We discussed this issue with a cleaning manager, Katherine, and she assured us that she would check it herself every time before guests move in. We hope that you will come and stay with us again."

Dock was unstable, beach front could have been cleaned up. New deck wobbles when you walk on it. Overall a great location and worth staying at, inside was very nice.

Updated lake house

This was the perfect house for our family to spend a long weekend in MN. The house has nice updates and the kitchen was well equipped. Our son enjoyed fishing on the lake with the kayak provided. The neighborhood is nice and the neighbors are friendly. The house is right by a walking path which was nice. We hope to return next summer.

Renter beware! Ask for current pictures if you plan on using the outdoor area including the lake! My son and I were planning on staying here to enjoy some fishing and kayaking. Despite the outdoor pictures mentioning they were taken in winter, this lake has a good reputation and I wasn't concerned. When we arrived, however; the outdoor area was unrecognizable. The floating dock is supposed to move, but after not being maintained for so long these boards are falling apart and sketchy to walk on. I can get past that when it's just us two. The area around it however was an absolute disaster. The amount growth that the owners have let pile up has made it impossible to safely launch a kayak or even throw out a fishing line. Now while I do understand how lakes work, if you take a look at all of the surrounding properties it's just not the case. This one stands alone as a disgusting eye sore. I would be ashamed as the owner and I imagine the neighbors just love having this next to them. With their lack of full transparency, my son and I did not get to enjoy that part of our vacation. When you throw in crumbs of some sort on the couches, bed sheets that smelled, and just a general feeling that no one cares; it's a horrible experience. But don't worry, when talking to the "Evolve Team" about issues, they bounce you to multiple people who give the same generic answer repeatedly. In other words, they've heard it before and don't care. If only I had more space to write, the list goes on.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand the shoreline and dock area didn't provide the fishing and kayaking access you expected. Although aquatic vegetation removal is regulated by the Minnesota DNR, we recognize that the outdoor area affected your stay. The main dock boards have since been replaced, and we’ve addressed the cleanliness concerns with our cleaning team. We also acknowledge that our communication didn't feel helpful and are using your feedback to improve the experience for future guests.
