This was a beautiful property with great access to the lake. Hospitable hosts and very informative. Perfect for a couples weekend away. We fished the lake and enjoyed heating up after around the propane fire pit.

Thank you Cindy for our stay at your amazing little cabin! You have a beautiful property and the cabin is a perfect little place! The lake is so beautiful and to have lake front access with a dock is amazing! We really enjoyed swimming in the lake! I certainly would recommend this little cabin for a couple wanting to visit lake cowichan! The cabin is super clean and very nicely finished. The lake swim and hot shower was amazing after biking to Youbou from Victoria! The little town of Youbou is lovely with a really nice pub for dinner!

We absolutely loved staying here, it was such a perfect place! The cabin was so bright, cute and cozy. It had everything we needed to make our stay so enjoyable (we loved the propane fire pit!). And, of course, the location is amazing. Being right on the lake and having dock to use was so special! Cindy is such wonderful host and so lovely and helpful. I can't wait to stay here again!

A perfect small cottage steps from the water on Cowichan Lake. We brought our kayaks and were able to launch right in front of the cottage on a sandy beach. The cottage is compact but has everything you need. Hope to return again. The hosts are just so nice! The elk were in the yard every day. What a sight to see. If you want to bowl on Friday night, make a reservation.! The pins are still set by hand.

We loved this cute and clean cabin within steps of the lake, with a nice dock and access to swimming. We were comfortable and had everything that we needed. The hosts were helpful and friendly, offering kindness in many ways. The cabin highlights the woodworking skills of the host.

We were able to book in for a single night - that’s all our schedule allowed for, but we wished we could have stayed a lot longer! From start to finish we had a great experience. As soon as we got to the property we saw a family of elk grazing on the lawn, parking and entering the cabin was an easy process, the exterior and interior was absolutely beautiful and well kept, we enjoyed the dock in the evening and the morning, and we really didn’t want to leave! I would absolutely stay here again.

My only regret is that I only stayed one night. This is a beautiful place-both inside and out. Clearly, much love has been poured into every detail. Even the towels were of the finest quality. And just to make the experience even more magical, I was woken up by a giant elk!
