Quirky and colourful describe this gorgeous split-level townhouse — a home that oozes character and charm in one of Melbourne`s most celebrated café and dining precincts. This adults-only retreat is the perfect base for couples wanting to experience the very best of inner-city Melbourne.

The home is spread across three levels and feels spacious, warm and entirely yours — with the exception of two locked rooms and a garage reserved for the owner`s personal use when they`re not travelling. You`ll have full private access to everything else.

🛏 SLEEPING

The master bedroom at the top of the stairs is beautifully appointed with a comfortable queen bed, ceiling fan, portable heater and a sunlit garden balcony.

🚿 BATHROOM

The bathroom features a shower over bath and is stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

🛋 LIVING

The lounge room on the middle level is a great space to unwind — Smart TV with streaming ready to go, portable heaters and fans and fast WiFi throughout.

Location was right near tram and a good walk to interesting locations. The place had multiple levels and very spacious.Host was eager to provide information if needed.

Everything about this stay was outstanding!The host was very responsive, helpful and personable.The house was very romantic...excellent artwork, fabulous lounge to relax in and wonderful bedroom.The house is also perfectly located...it is walking distance to excellent restaurants (of any and every variety that might take your fancy) and has some fabulous wine-bars and even some live music venues (walking distance but not hearing distance).I commend the house to you without any reservation what-so-ever.

This is a really quirky property with a lot of charm. I wish I could give five stars, because this is clearly someone’s beloved home, but it needs a few tweaks before it’s fully ready to function as an excellent short term rental. The art on the walls gives the place a lot of character and the bookshelf is great to flick through. We also really appreciated the high quality and comfortable bed linens, which were spotlessly clean as well as the rest of the house when we arrived.Unfortunately we stayed here on the hottest day of summer, and the layout of the property is such that hot air accumulates in the only bedroom, and the house simply isn’t equipped to deal with extreme heat days. The whole property is like a time capsule from the 90s, with some of the fittings being quite worn and dated, which adds to the quirkiness, but summers were a few degrees cooler 35 years ago and the property could probably do with a revamp to catch up.The location is great for easy access to the CBD and communication with the host Peter was seamless. It’s a shame we couldn’t be comfortable in this charming home.
