Cozy Cottage on Tidnish River

Cottage Riverfront Property located on Hwy 366 in Tidnish Bridge. Very central location in the Maritimes, 2 hrs to Halifax, 1.5 hrs to Charlottetown, and 1 hr to Moncton.
Newly renovated, very private cottage situated on 28 acres on the Tidnish River. The cottage is road front and you need to walk down to the river via private trails, where you can enjoy the dock, swim, canoe, kayak or go fishing. 5 mins to the public beach and boat launch.
Large deck space with all day sun and BBQ. Fire pit with ample seating. Horseshoe pit and badminton net for all day fun! KM's of trails to explore the forest and river front with a new dock.
Inside Features: 1 double bed, 1 pull out couch. High Speed (rural) internet with Roku for streaming, dvd with selection of titles. Full kitchen w/ fridge & stove, microwave, coffee maker and kettle, toaster,pots, pans and essentials. Small dining area can seat 4 people.
Bathroom: Full size bathroom w/ stand up shower. Washer/dryer.

Crystal was a wonderful host and went out of her way to offer suggestions for seeing the area. The cozy cabin was a delight. It had everything we needed and we would recommend it to friends looking for a secluded stay in the woods!

This was a great place to stay! We were hoping to explore lots of different stuff in the area and the location was great for going lots of different places. PEI, Hopewell Rocks, and other awesome beautiful spots are within a reasonable drive, and, as we discovered, the Tidnish river which can be accessed by the trails out back was a lovely site to see in its own right. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed and more.

Lovely, cozy cottage on the edge of the forest. A perfect place to get away from it all, switch off and enjoy nature. The fire pit was wonderful, the hosts are fabulous- so helpful and attentive when needed.

Everything was perfect we enjoyed our stay immensely and we both could see ourselves living there. It was so peaceful and serene lived the seclusion. Water temp was perfect, couldn’t of asked for anything better:)

Great Time

My spouse and I stayed at the property for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. It was well equipped for us and quite clean. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again without hesitation.

This was a great stay with my two sons. They loved the privacy (I did too because I never had to shush them) and the big yard with several yard games and the fire pit for marshmallows at night. The cabin was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The big fridge/freezer was great to keep our groceries, and there was space in the pantry to put away some of our items. It was nice to have a hot shower after a big day outdoors. It really made it feel like home. We absolutely loved it and hope to come back again to visit next year!

A lovely spot to get away for a few days. The space is comfortable and has very thoughtful details. I appreciated the no-contact sign in which allowed us the flexibility to arrive later in the day.

This was a great spot for us to visit while we were here for a baseball tournament and touring PEI and surrounding areas. We were very happy to have nearby Lobster to purchase at Chase Lobster and fried scallop special at the Riverside. (thanks for the outdoor lobster pot!), the Tidnish Bridge beach was fun to explore all the mussels and oysters. If we came back as a family of 4 upgrading the pullout couch to a murphy bed would be a bonus for a family of 4. Thanks again.

What a wonderful trip, we enjoyed this cozy cottage so much! The host makes you feel right at home, all the basic things are ready for the guest like spices and oil for cooking, shampoo and soaps, all the things. We loved the sprawling lawn for bocce ball and every morning the sweet little bunnies would be frolicking in the lawn. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable. Really great that the roku was there but so many great dvds too, very nostalgic. We didnt have a dog but noticed there were toys and dishes for doggy guests too. Of course its lovely to buy dinner out and support the local community, but there is everything you need to cook at home. BBQ was really nice. Thank you for such a wonderful accommodation!

Lovely little cottage in a quiet wooded area. Everything was as advertised with a beautiful yard and everything you would need in the house. Remember to take your password for Netflix , we did and it worked well as there was no regular cableWifi worked great. Everything was clean and neat and tidy.The host was great and easy to reach if you had a question. We had a great week even though it rained a lot. Loved it.

The place is secluded and surrounded by nature. It is located close to a road that's not too busy but does have some car noise. The cabin is cute and has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable. the host did a great job providing necessities, activities and local info and recommendations. We had a great time.

Super beau petit chalet paisible dans le bois. Contacts faciles avec l'hôte. Le seul bémol est que le divan lit est peu confortable, mais sinon tout le reste était parfait. Nous avions tout le nécessaire (cuisine complète, laveuse-sécheuse, télé avec Netflix, etc.). Tres calme. Nous recommandons.
