Lovely spot with great facilities! All amenities worked well. Our host Andrew was very helpful and accomodating. Great spot for family getaway!

Perfect Getaway

We had such a great stay at this cottage! The property was beautiful and clean, and the lake was perfect for swimming. We had everything we needed for a comfortable and fun getaway. There’s also a small island nearby with little beaches and shallow water. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. We’d definitely love to come back!

My husband and I, together with our dog, rented Andrew's beautiful cottage from Sept.7/26 to Sept.14/26. It was everything and much more than we had hoped for! The cottage was immaculately clean when we arrived. The cottage is very nicely decorated and extremely cosy. The walk-in shower with dual shower heads was a nice luxury. From inside the cottage and out on the deck, we were gifted with seeing the sun rise over the lake every morning while we drank our coffee. The lake itself is amazingly clean, clear and weed-free! We both enjoyed swimming every day. In my case, a few times everyday :-) My husband also fished off the dock everyday while I took advantage of the canoe, paddling in front of neighbouring properties and over to the island close to the cottage. Our dog is not a swimmer but she still loved watching the ducks and the loons on the lake while standing on the dock. She also loved lying on the deck in the sun, listening to the birds, squirrels and other wildlife sounds. We enjoyed the campfire and our dog walks along the road where we met a few friendly neighbours. My husband and our dog saw a beautiful deer on one of their morning walks. Andrew was the perfect host! He was very quick to respond to any questions or comments I had before or during our stay. If we are able to, we will definitely be returning next year!!!

Nous avons réservé ce chalet pour 2 semaines. En Juillet. Tout était parfait . le lac est superbe, nous avons fait du canot, vestes de sauvetage inclus. Apporter des souliers d'eau ( petits cailloux) La cuisine est plus que complète. Plusieurs jeux de sociétés mis à notre disposition. Le chalet dans l'ensemble est très comfortable. Nous avons pris presque tous nos repas dans l'abri moustiquaire. Nous reviendrons c'est certain.

Our family of four and two small dogs loved our week here so much! The water was crystal clear and warm and we swam, kayaked or canoed every day. It was fun having the small island across the way to paddle to and explore and enjoy its beaches. The lake bottom is sandy but not squishy - just right! We could wade in or jump off the end of the dock. We really appreciated the two kayaks, and canoe and lots of life jackets in every size. (Never did use the paddle boat - next time!). Added bonus was the family of ducks that visited us every day - and even came and swam with us! We enjoyed the hike to the lookout at mont cayamant - only a five minute drive away. The cabin was clean, fully stocked and had everything we needed and more. We ate every meal on the table on the deck and enjoyed hours of cards and games - also provided. We had pizza from nearby (ten min drive) Rustik 55 and it was absolutely amazing. Only advice is to Plan your groceries and purchases ahead as Gracefield is the closest town about half hour away. One thing to note is this is a popular lake on weekends - we arrived Saturday night and the lake was incredibly busy with boats and jet skis and such. But by Sunday afternoon it was quiet... until Friday afternoon. Just something to be aware of that it definitely was busy on the lake and you could hear the neighbours out and about on the weekends. During the week was incredibly quiet! Otherwise this place has everything you need and you won't be disappointed!

We had a nice stay at this cottage. It was well equipped and has a nice dock on the lake, with clean water and a few fish. The host was very responsive to our questions. We would come back again.
