Welcome to Mountain Bay Retreat — a luxurious lakeview escape nestled near Goughs Bay, where comfort meets natural beauty. Accommodating up to 10 guests (8 adults + 2 children), this thoughtfully designed retreat offers the perfect setting for family holidays, group getaways, or restful retreats.
Surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Lake Eildon and the Victorian High Country, you'll enjoy panoramic mountain views, breathtaking sunsets, and complete tranquility. Whether you're seeking adventure on the water, snow-filled days at Mt Buller, or simply time to unwind in a peaceful setting, Mountain Bay Retreat is your home base for it all.

* Lounge area with couch and TV
* Main bathroom with shower, bath & separate toilet
* Private balcony with outdoor dining table & chairs.
Upper house
* Bedroom 3: Queen bed with wardrobe
* Bedroom 4: Queen bed with wardrobe
* Kitchenette
* Casual lounge area with TV
* Second bathroom with shower, spa (not in use) & toilet

General House Rules
Treat It Like Home – We kindly ask all guests to respect the space as they would their own home.
No Parties – This is a peaceful holiday retreat, not a venue for events or celebrations.
No Pets – Unfortunately, pets are not permitted.
Guest Limit – Maximum of 10 guests (8 adults and 2 children) per booking.
Private Use Only – Bookings must be for private residential stays only, unless agreed in advance.
Spas Not Operational – both the indoor and outdoor spas are not in use.
Infinity Pool – The pool is not heated but is solar-assisted. Best enjoyed between November & April.
No Firepits or Fireplaces – There is no outdoor firepit or indoor open fireplace.
Quiet Hours – Please keep outdoor noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM & 8:00 AM.
Check-In & Access
Check-in: From 3:00 PM
Check-out: By 10:00 AM
Check-in Method: Self check-in via secure key lockbox (details provided before arrival).
Guest Access: You’ll have exclusive access to the bottom two levels of the home.
The top floor is privately locked and unoccupied during your stay.
Parking & Property Layout
Ample Parking is available, including space for a boat or trailer.
Steep Driveway & Stairs – The property features a steep driveway and multiple staircases—please take care, especially with children or mobility concerns.
Amenities & Comfort
Wi-Fi: Free and available throughout the home.
EV Charging: A Type 2 EV charger (32 amp) is available on the private driveway.
Heating & Cooling: The home has climate control systems for your comfort (details provided in the guest guide).
