Our cottage built in 1991 is located less than 30 metres from Lake Erie and comes with natural environmental conditions that are common to the area.

Lake Insects & Spiders
Lake insects may occur depending on weather and water temperatures. As part of the natural ecosystem, spiders are common and may build webs overnight, even after cleaning.

To protect Lake Erie's environment and comply with Ontario environmental regulations, we do not use excessive chemical pesticides

Weather & Outdoor Amenities
Weather conditions can affect outdoor amenities at any time. Wind may deposit leaves, sand, dust, insects. Rain may leave surfaces wet or create temporary puddles. Condition of the Pool may be affected by rain and storm. During cooler months, frost, snow, ice, or freezing temperatures may limit access to or enjoyment of outdoor spaces.

Pool water temperature, lake conditions, visibility, outdoor furniture, and the usability of amenities can change quickly due to weather and are beyond our control.

Great location steps from the beach, and the bed linens were clean. However, the cottage had serious maintenance issues: foul-smelling well water, an outdated and unclean refrigerator, multiple non-working light fixtures, and noticeable bug activity throughout the living areas.

Host was very responsive but cleanliness and outdoor upkeep could be to beimproved. The kids enjoyed the pool and the game room. Yard and grounds need a lot of improvement (refinish deck, clean up yard; garden area, rehab tennis court) and toilets were stained. Amount of hot water available for showers was insufficient for number of people staying. Overall, a home with a lot of potential, needing some improvement.

The place has lots of potential, definitely lots of room and everything that was there was working. It looks like they're in the process of making some renovations that might be taking them a little bit longer than expected. The disappointing part was things we expected to find weren't available, for example extra toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towel or cleaning cloths. Other things we didn't expect to find was mold in the kitchen cupboards, and leftover food that had been moldy in the fridge. We understand the fly issue that time of season. If the patio door closed properly, that would probably solve a lot of the issues of the flies coming inside. The pool definitely needs more tending to. There was a lot of sand in the bottom of the pool. There's a bit of wear and tear that needs to be addressed, a gate being held up by a ratchet strap didn't feel very safe. The screws that hold the pool cover on over the winter weren't screwed back down into the deck so if our group wasn't watching that could have caused some injury. The area is lovely and our group had a good time. Thanks for sharing your home

Wish you had mentioned these during your stay and sent me Photos as soon as you Checked in. We may have provided some details at the time As this is a Cottage guests are expected to bring consumables like paper towels, foils, garage bags etc. We still provide a few starters. We provide plenty of toilet paper and keep some extras in a cabinet too !!! We specifically asked cleaners to check inside Fridge & appliances and keep Pre Check in photos We keep some garbage bags and encourage recycling. I have signs and bins where to put recycling. There's is a cleaning closet with cleaning products Pool and all other equipment is inspected by certified professionals and we go by their advice. The Pool screws are supposed to be the way it is according to Pool professionals Sorry to see that it didn't meet your needs but we try our very best to make it very comfortable for our guests

Our previously booked vrbo accommodation had a host that did not communicate regarding original booking, which was confirmed in March. Dim assisted with group accommodation which was required short notice.Property and home were not well maintained. Specifically the interior of the home had not been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. Advised host of conditions and sent photos. Once those details were sent, there was no further communication received from host.

We had a ladies get together at this place and had a great time. Views are beautiful and the place is very comfortable spacious with everything provided for us. The place was very neat and clean and it had a lot of amenities that we could enjoy. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time here
