Pretty house with a beautiful yard and view. Very private and quiet. Enjoyed our stay here. Lots of beautiful hiking nearby and great restaurants in Nelson. Perfect spot f you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had such a wonderful stay. The location was perfect—peaceful and surrounded by nature, while still being conveniently close to both Nelson and Castlegar. It was also just a short drive to several beautiful beaches. The cabin itself was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property was absolutely beautiful, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the scenery. One of the highlights was the wildlife—we loved watching the baby birds around the property, and we were lucky enough to spot a young bear from a safe distance, which made the experience feel even more special.If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with easy access to outdoor activities and charming nearby towns, we would definitely recommend staying here!

Alex was very accommodating- kept the driveway clear of snow, made sure we had what we needed and made us feel like we were at 'home for the holidays' which can be a tough time to be away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Zen Den. The name perfectly captures the experience - this property is a true retreat. Nestled in a quiet, secluded setting, it offered the peace and relaxation we were looking for while still being conveniently located between Nelson and Castlegar, making it easy to explore the area.The owners were excellent hosts - responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The property was comfortable, well-maintained, and provided a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.The only thing we found ourselves missing was a microwave for reheating leftovers and quick meals. That was a minor inconvenience, however, and did not detract significantly from our overall experience.We would definitely recommend the Zen Den to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in the beautiful British Columbia countryside.

The people who own the property were very nice and helpful. Stair rails would be a good addition to get to the top floor. We also missed having a microwave oven.

Unique home, very nice. A little difficult to find in the dark. Comfortable beds but upstairs shower was very small and larger person would have trouble in it. Lots of room to relax and enjoy.

This home is very roomy and the decor is beautiful! It fit 6 adults comfortably. The kitchen is setup nicely for easy cooking. The area is extremely quiet, the view is gorgeous and the wildlife is very abundant. Wild turkies were seen everyday and elk were also seen in the front yard. The hosts of this property have supplied a number of outdoor games as well as a nice firepit for use. I highly recommended this beautiful home as it is well worth the value!

We had a great stay at the Zen Den. This is a well built home with lots of open space and natural light. Massive porch with lovely mountain views! The Zen Den accommodated our family of five adults, two children and our dog comfortably. Close to amenities while also being a beautiful rural setting!

A great property, nice views and we'll appointed. Everything we needed was there. Lots of room to host family for visits and dinners . Especially liked the huge wrap around porch with 2 couches. Highly recommended.
