Recently renovated Vail studio condo centrally located in Lionshead Village, quick access to the Vail Mountain just one block from the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Vail Ski School. All the shops, restaurants, entertainment and Vail ski lifts are just out your door! The kitchenette has a half-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and stove. Dogs can be authorized at Lifthouse Lodge for $30 per night.

LIFT HOUSE ELEVATOR: The new elevator has been completed as of the end of 2022!
LIFT HOUSE PARKING: Limited parking is available first-come, first-served at $50 per night in the winter, and $25 per night non-winter. If our lot is full, the public Lionshead garage is $60/day in the winter, and $30/day in the summer.

STUDIO: Queen bed and queen sofa sleeper in living room. 1 Full Bath.

The staff are excellent: kind, helpful, etc. our unit was dated. The refrigerator door fell off at one point (!!) but we were able to re-attach. Shower pressure non-existent. But you can’t beat the location!!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After renting form Lifthouse Vail during the ski season my husband and I decided to try a summer trip. The renal was exactly what we required and anticipated. Clean, well maintained, and location and view was accurate to description. The staff at the Lifthouse is always friendly professional and extremely helpful. Location is prefect walking distance to everything you need. Parking is perfect located directly behind the building. I would recommend this to family and friends but would also like to keep it a secret.

Didn’t have drinkable water all weekend. Not a hotel, not a condo?

Overall this was not a great experience. For almost $350/night, I expected more. This place is not a true condo, but also not a true hotel? It lacked the personal touch and necessities of an individual condo and it lacked the amenities and comfort of a hotel. Out of all my grievances, not having drinkable water the entire weekend was the biggest problem. Even after the attempted fix, it wasn’t fixed. We weren’t able to get a hold of the office on the second day and this was really frustrating. This was apparently caused from replacing a 70yr old pipe. That’s all fine, but not being able to have drinkable water is a problem. Would not recommend staying here. Pros - Location and proximity to resort Cons - Check in policy was horrendous. There was no call or email of check in instructions. I emailed twice the day of check in with no response. When I arrived, the office was closed. There’s only a 1 hour timeframe when someone can check in because check in is at 4, and their office closes at 5. I called the after hours number and thankfully someone was able to help, but it was not an easy experience. - Did not have drinkable water all weekend. The water was so cloudy you couldn’t see through it. This was attempted to be fixed by the second night, but the water was still cloudy and we did not feel comfortable to drink it. When we tried calling the after hours number (because the office closes at 5), no one answered. How can you host a guest and have water that is not safe to consume? - Bed was very uncomfortable and linens were very hard and felt over bleached. We ended up sleeping on the pullout sofa on day 2 because the bed was hard. - There was one very small shampoo to use and one very small body soap. This isn’t a big deal as most true condos don’t provide that, but this is a hotel? Not a true individuals condo. - Parking cost was not disclosed before making the booking. It’s $45/day. - Place lacking basic necessities such as utensils and wine opener. - No delayed checkout. For a place that says it’s a hotel, their checkout policy is 10AM and any delay in leaving will result in an additional nights stay. Most hotels give the courtesy of an hour or a $50 fee. I found this to be just wild.

Great location/needs updating

Parking is soon to be eliminated at this property. Single sink in cramped bathroom. Decor is very dated, yet the location is superb.

Spectacular views and location

The condo itself as well as the overall property was clean and well maintained. It was a little dated but owning a vacation property rental myself, I appreciate how costly and unrealistic it is to keep up! The view from the balcony is amazing and the location was unbeatable, easy walking distance to the mountain, shops and dining, all the reasons for our visit to Vail! Would definitely rent this property again!

Great location, first time to Vail

We honeymooned here to try skiing for the first time and were pleased with the location. Although, we didn’t realize that there was distance between Vail village and Lionshead, it was still great! Clean, easy, and we could walk everywhere!

Love this place

Lifthouse is perfect for myself, my boyfriend, and our two dogs. We’ve stayed there twice in the past two months and can’t wait to come back again! The location is perfect and central to so many shops and restaurants. The staff has been very friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for a pet friendly place in Vail then this is the place to be.

Disappointing

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third time staying at the lift house and I things seemed to have changed. First off the toaster didn’t work in the manager Bridget was Sweet and brought us a new one. Unfortunately that one sparked both times we tried to use it and we didn’t have one for the rest of our eight days day. The garbage disposal did not work and with no maid service the trash really piled up. We took it down a couple times but it’s quite a haul out to the dumpster. With no housekeeping service we had to ask for additional washcloths for our eight day stay and we’re only provided with two additional. After a third request we finally got enough to last us for our stay. The biggest complaint we have with the property was the hot water heater. It’s simply was not working properly at all. Your shower would start off warm and quickly turn ice cold. We would have to shut shower off and wait until the water return to warm in the Faucet below. All in all, too Miserable of an experience to consider returning.

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit mainly for the location, however we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the bed was and the lack of noise at night for being above a popular bar. We did stay in off season but if we were to come back to ski, we would stay here again. Fireplace, television, small kitchen, location, good bed and clean checked all of our boxes. Life is good!
